Chapter 16
When Arelie woke up, it night time. She looked at her clock.
11:29pm.
She tried to move when she felt warmth around her stomach. Arelie looked down at her holder. Trystan didn’t open his eyes, but he smirked. Arelie crawled closer to him and brushed his black hair out of his face and stroked his cheek. She kissed his lips and he groaned.
Trystan opened his eyes, watching Arelie move back and bite her bottom lip, the lip he wanted to bite. He gazed at her, both of them staring into each others eyes.
“I love you,” Trystan said softly.
Arelie’s eyes widened. Then she smiled brightly. She leaned in to kiss him, but Trystan deepened it. His tongue mated with hers and she moaned with pleasure. When they pulled back they were breathing harshly.
“I love you, too. So much.” Arelie replied.
“Does this mean that we . . . that we’re together again?” Trystan asked, hesitating slightly. Elie bit her lip again.
“Yes, it means we’re together again.” Arelie nodded, Trystan grinned so widely, Arelie was afraid he’d rip his face. She smiled at him, shocked at how boyish he now seemed.
Arelie sat up. Trystan frowned. He grabbed her waist, trying to pull her down but Arelie was being firm.
“Trystan?!” Arelie protested.
“What?” Trystan asked innocently. Elie shook her head, trying in vain to move.
“Let go?” Arelie offered. Trystan shook his head.
“I think we need to make up for that month away from each other.” Trystan explained. Elie’s mouth gaped. Trystan chuckled and gently closed it. Elie’s face flushed, and she looked back at him.
“We’ll make up for it this month. Ok?” she said, trying to move.
“But when will we make up for this month?” Trystan asked innocent confusion on his face. Arelie laughed at his expression. She lightly pressed a kiss on his lips, in his shock, Trystan let go of her and Arelie bounded off the bed. He growled his opinion.
“Come on, grumpy head.” Arelie grinned, going into the bathroom to take a shower. “We’ve got school tomorrow. I’ve already missed today; I don’t want to fail exams coming up.”
Trystan sighed loudly. Suddenly his face brightened.
“What?” she asked.
“Let’s skip. Just one more day.” Trystan pleaded. Elie shook her head stubbornly.
“No. I’m going. We’ll hang out this weekend. Hey, you can come with me tomorrow to go shopping!” Arelie suggested, she smiled, “I’ve got to finish the list Bea left me. Maybe afterwards you could pay for dinner?” she asked.
Trystan smiled and nodded. “Ok. But I’m staying here tonight.”
“Trystan-”
“Don’t argue.” He warned. Elie rolled her eyes.
“Yes, oh master.” She grinned. Trystan shook his head again. He just looked so cute sitting there in her bed that Elie couldn’t resist running up to him and kissing him. A small peck. When she pulled back Trystan protested.
Arelie leaned down into his ear and whispered; “How about you join me in the shower?” She offered.
Trystan stirred. More like his friend did. Arelie laughed softly and kissed him again, and then she turned and went into the bathroom. Trystan sat there, not comprehending until he heard the shower come on. He quickly bounded off the bed and went after her, dislodging his clothes on the way.
