Chapter 22
April 21
Trystan looked to his side, a small cushiony body was nestled in his side and he couldn’t help the smile that came onto his face. Arelie looked so beautiful when she was sleeping. He moved a little and she moaned a small protest and cuddled back to his side.
He loved her so much. He’d always protect her, always love her and cherish her. His arms tightened around her body, he couldn’t live without her, and he realized that too soon.
But what would happen? What would happen to their lives with Ben still in it? Where was he right now?
All these questions pummeled his brain and he wondered on how to get rid of Ben, because he had to face the grim truth. In order for Arelie to have a normal life without constantly looking behind her back in fear was to get rid of Ben, immediately.
Trystan’s blood ran cold at the thought of Arelie’s ‘dad’. The selfish bastard wasn’t even honored to be Arelie’s dad. She deserved so much in her life, and Ben wasn’t worth her time or thought, Trystan though savagely.
Arelie shifted in his arms and turned around, pressing her face into Trystan’s shoulder. Arelie unconsciously breathed him in, relaxing immediately in his scent.
Trystan silently chuckled.
“Trystan . . .” Elie murmured. Suddenly she woke from her slumber and looked up at him with shining, sleepy eyes.
“Good morning, beautiful.” Trystan whispered gently. Arelie grinned and wrapped her arms around his waist. Last night had been wonderful. They had spent the day together after school and came back home, loving each other and lying in each others arms. Elie had never felt so good in her life than now.
“We have to get ready for that picnic.” Elie muttered into his shoulder. Trystan chest vibrated with laughter.
“Why a picnic? Why not the beach?” Elie suddenly sat up with a wide grin.
“That’s perfect Trystan! Why couldn’t I have thought of it?” she asked herself. She slammed her hand on her dresser, searching for her phone and finding it. She quickly pressed a few buttons and dialed.
“Kyle!” Arelie squealed. “Change of plans-” Arelie paused, with an annoyed expression. “It’s not early! It’s past eleven! Never mind, anyways what I was about to say before you interrupted was that we should have the picnic at the beach instead of the park.”
Arelie grinned and said something else, “It was all Trystan’s idea.” Arelie’s face became serious, “No, you may not kiss my boyfriend. No, I don’t care. Kiss Carter.” She offered with a small smile.
Trystan heard shouting in the background and lifted his eyebrow. When Arelie giggled and nodded and hung up he sat back.
“Should I be worried that you have Kyle’s number on speed dial?” Trystan asked dryly.
“Hey! That’s for emergencies!” she protested.
“Why isn’t my number on speed dial?” Trystan complained.
