Chapter 21
April 20
It was Friday; Arelie rolled over and bumped into Trystan who groaned. She smiled faintly and started to leave the bed, but Trystan’s hand curled around her waist and brought her backwards and making her back bump into him once more.
“Where are you going?” he croaked, sleep filled his voice.
“Nowhere, now.” Arelie sighed; she leaned into Trystan and turned around; wrapping her arms around him. She had a habit these days of holding him close to her, she needed it from him. His warmth supplied her with the comfort she needed. She still had her eerie feeling that somehow wouldn’t go away.
Trystan looked down at her and swiped away her hair that fell on her eyes. Elie briefly closed her eyes and sighed. “What’s wrong?”
“Other than getting up for school?” Elie smiled. Trystan shook his head and sighed. He pressed her closer to him and buried his face in her hair and breathed in her cinnamon scent that she always seemed to posses.
“I don’t want to go.” He muttered. “I want to stay here, in your arms.”
Elie chuckled softly, “As corny and amazing that sounds, we have to go. I can’t miss anymore days, or maybe you could just stay here with me and wait.”
Trystan pulled away with a wry grin on his lips, they were so tempting that she just had to give him a kiss. She pulled his head closer to get better access to him, making the kiss deeper. She moaned, while he groaned his pleasure.
Trystan swiftly got her under him, pinning her there, ravishing her beautiful mouth.
“Trystan . . .” she breathed.
“What?” He grumbled, scattering soft, tender kisses along her cheek and jaw, making her squirm.
“School.” She reminded, putting a hand on his chest, she felt his thumping heartbeat and smiled, glad to know that she wasn’t the only one so affected. Trystan kissed her again before pulling back.
“Alright.” He reluctantly agreed. Arelie smiled and sat up. She got up and pulled out a few clothes from her drawers and grabbed a towel. Trystan looked at her, a mischievous smile playing along his smooth lips.
Arelie smiled at him, and raised her eyebrow. “Care to join?” she whispered seductively, and then disappeared through the door. Trystan grinned and nearly ran to her like a puppy.
. . .
“You’re making us late, Trystan!” Arelie scolded, running to the car.
“Stop wining, El’s, we’ve got like seven minutes!” Trystan argued.
“It’s a fifteen minute drive!” Elie scowled, “We’re going to be really late.” She hopped into the car and slammed the passenger door shut while Trystan winced for his car.
“Easy,” Trystan soothed.
“Get your tight butt in this car, Trystan Levi!” Arelie growled. Trystan grinned boyishly.
“We’ll get there.” He promised. Elie raised a brow.
Nearly five minutes later, a flushed looking Elie, who would’ve had a pale color if not for the windows down in the car, and a proud looking Trystan strutting into class.
Trystan and Elie took their seats, right as the bell rung. Trystan looked at Elie with a smug smile and leaned over to whisper. “Told you, Els”
