Can't sleep (Tyler)

Tyler Scheid~ no warnings 

 I stir awake, blinking hard. I inhale sharply and rub my eyes. I keep having these stupid nightmares. I roll over, facing Tyler. He's fast asleep and snoring slightly. I sit up and stretch before climbing carefully out of bed. I make my way downstairs slowly, yawning as I go. I settled down on the couch, flipping through some dumb infomercials and trying not to think about my nightmare.

It's nearly a half hour later and I'm drifting in and out of sleep when I hear footsteps clambering down the stairs. I jolt a little.

"Hello?" I call out softly. Tyler appears from around the corner. I smile shyly as he flops onto the couch next to me.

"What're you doing up?" I ask, scooting closer to him.

"I could ask you the same thing," he mumbles, rubbing his eyes.

"Nightmare," I sigh. He drapes his arms around me gently.

"I'm sorry, babe. Wanna come back to bed and cuddle?"

I shrug. Tyler grumbles at me and scoops me up, making me squeal.

"Tyler!"

He ignores me and carries me up to our room. He tucks me into bed before crawling under the sheets beside me. I bury my face against his chest.

"Better?" He murmurs. I nod slowly.

"Thank you, Tyler."

"I love you," he hums gently. I am so lucky to have him.
