Arin Hanson; swearing

Arin and I hadn't been dating for very long. I hadn't even gone to his house yet. So today was nerve-racking. It was my first time visiting his house.  I had been parked in his driveway for a few minutes and still hadn't gotten the courage to go inside. I watch the front door open and Arin steps out, raising a hand to wave at me. I wave shyly back before turning my car off and climbing out.

"Hey, babe! Been here long?" Arin asks as I walk up to the front door and give him a hug.

"Nah, just a few minutes," I smile up at him. I kiss his cheek before he leans back and opens the door wide for us.

"Welcome to my humble abode," He chirps. I smile and look around, taking in the shelves full of video games, the posters of old video games in frames lining the walls. One of his cats is lounging on the back of his sofa.

"Woah," I mumble when I spot the shelves hanging on the walls which are decorated with snowglobes, shot glasses, postcards, basically any kind of souvenir you can think of. Arin chuckles.

"Neat, huh?" He drapes his arm over my shoulder.

"So fucking cool," I lean into him. "Have you really been to all these places?"

He nods. "I travel a lot for work." I hum gently in response and Arin tugs me over to one of the lower shelves as he launches into a story about how he got this particular shot glass. And that's what we do for the rest of the day mostly. He walks me around, showing me all his little knick-knacks and telling me their stories.

As I'm leaving later that night, I sigh and tell him how jealous I am. He promises to take me with him someday. I kiss him goodbye and head home.

We hang out again at his house a few days later. We've been playing Smash Brother's for awhile when Arin suddenly pauses the game.

"I got a new thing," He states. I tilt my head at him.

"A new souvenir? But you haven't gone anywhere lately," I quip. He shrugs and stands up before reaching for my hand. I grabbed his hand and let him lead me. He guided me to the center of his collection; right underneath a window. There was now a small end table beneath the window which was decorated with some small candles and pictures of us. In the middle of that is just a selfie I had taken. I blushed and cringed a little.

"What's this?" I whisper, clinging tighter to Arin's hand.

Arin just grinned and let go of my hands to do finger guns at me and said, "Because you're my world and I don't need to travel to get a souvenir of my favorite place."
