I take a long sip from my glass of water. It's a warm summer night. I'm at a friends house for a party, one I didn't even want to attend initially, but now I'm here, and I'm people watching. One man had caught my eye for sure. He was on the taller side, and broad, with long, straight brown hair with one patch dyed blonde. I had been watching him from the corner of the party for a while. He hadn't seemed to catch me staring yet.
It wasn't that much later when I felt a tap on my shoulder; I had been focused on my phone. I jumped and looked up wide-eyed at whoever had tapped me. It was the man I had been watching all night.
"Oh hi," I smile, pushing my phone into my pocket.
"Hey there. I'm Arin," He held his hand out, and I shook it.
"I'm (Y/N)."
"Pleasure to meet ya. So, I couldn't help but notice how your eyes rest on me a little longer than everyone else."
I blush. "Oh?"
Arin chuckled. "Yeah, I noticed that. Could I get your number?"
