Chapter 8

"Manzo! Manzo!" A man cried, running for his house.

"What's wrong?" He stepped out, Yasmin close behind.

"It's your daughter." He panted. "It's happening."

Ayame roared menacingly, red and black chakra engulfing her body.

"We heard a scream." Villagers had surrounded the alley as Kakashi backed up.

"Go! Go!" He urged.

She twisted, Ayame shooting forward. The villagers dispersed, fleeing from the streets as she roared.

Shinobi and jonin ran out, spewing every jutsu they had at her. Ayame's body formed five tails that's blocked the attacks, curling around her in a barrier.

"Is she a jinchuriki?" A man fretted as she slammed her hands on the ground. A roar escaped her, shaking with agony and pain.

"Who are you?" Ayame looked up. She was surrounded by grass, a large cage before her. Inside the cage, the grass had died and was replaced with scorching hot concrete. A large lion sat there, the bottom of his paws red and swollen.

He lifted his scarred lip in a snarl.

Ayame was kicked back, landing against the fence of the village. She looked up to see the third hokage, surrounded by his shinobi.

Manzo and Yasmin were amongst them although Ayame paid no attention to her parents.

"Ayame." Yasmin stepped forward. She reached her hand out, stepping forward slowly.

"You shouldn't be here." He warned. "You've already unlocked the fifth tail, I see."

"What are you talking about?!" She cried out. His gaze landed on her, narrowing.

"Your fear is strong. But it isn't of me...interesting." He bent down, sniffing her slowly. "Humans.  What interesting beings they are."

Ayame fled out the gates of the Leaf Village and into the forest. She found herself in a clearing, turning her head at the sign of movement.

A group of sand shinobi were revealed, narrowing their eyes.

"What is this?" A kunoichi whispered.

"My fear? I'm not scared of you!" She lied as he bent down, his chin brushing against the ground.

"Then how come it was so easy to take over your body?"

Ayame's instinct immediately told her to slaughter them. Murder them.

She growled and shot forward, punching a man. He flew back against a tree, rebounding off and leaping for her.

"Wind style, Strong Blows jutsu!" He exhaled, the winds holding Ayame in place as the kunoichi aimed her kunai at Ayame. Her arm moved quickly, the kunai lodging into her arm rather her heart.

She growled, the kunoichi retreating.

Ayame stepped back, her mouth opening and the tails forming around her. A black orb appeared into her mouth and she attempted to inhale it but the kunoichi kicked her out the way. Ayame rolled her over, pinning her to the ground. The small amount of the black orb she had inhaled shot out of her mouth in a beam, decapitating the girl.

"She's a monster!" A man whispered. She turned slowly, putting her arms up to dodge his fire style jutsu. She ran forward, her speed causing them to lose sight of her.

She lashed out, scratching his chest before leaping atop his shoulders. She leapt atop another person, clawing away at their stomach, blood splattering around.

The fourth person stared in horror, being younger than the other three. A tear slid down his cheek as Ayame looked back at him slowly. She disappeared in his eyes with her unreal speed, perching herself in a tree.

She roared, leaping down to slice open his neck and landed on the ground, roaring. She turned to the Leaf Village, the black particles forming a ball once again.

"I'm not scared!" She yelled up at him. "You can't touch me...You won't touch me in that cage!" She slammed her hand on the bar. "Get out of me, you bastard!"

The Third Hokage placed a sticker on Ayame and kicked her back. She slammed through two trees, her demonic body reseeding inside her. Her arms shook violently as she dipped her head, vomiting up blood.

She wiped her lip, looking over at the body beside her. Ayame screamed, backing away from him.

"Where am I?!" She cried. The Third Hokage approached her and knelt down.

"Do you remember anything that just happened?" He asked softly. She looked over at her body, soaked in blood and burns. Her breathing pattern became tense and she stared at the body.

"She's hyperventilating!" A kunoichi of the Leaf yelled.

"Calm down, young one." The Hokage whispered. She looked up at him, shaking weakly.

"Did I do this?"
