Ayame kneeled down on the ground, her head dipped with Kakashi and Guy beside her. Her shoulder had been wrapped and her hair was tucked neatly behind her ear.

"You ignorantly disobeyed me!" Sarutobi scolded. "Your lives were put on the line!"

"We had to act fast, they were going to take Sayakah.-"

"You don't get to talk right now! Learn how to listen and shut you mouth at the correct times!" He snapped, Ayame looking down. "Kakashi and Guy, You two know better than to disobey me."

"Sayakah's life was in danger. If we waited for night fall, her life would have been taken." Kakashi stated. "We had to act immediately and in doing so, her life was saved."

"Although you are correct, you three still disobeyed me. As punishment, you will be held off on missions and confined to the village until I say otherwise. And you will help set up for the annual parade rather than participate."

"What?!" Guy yelled. "Lord Hokage, please-"

"Enough." He snapped. "I will find worthy shinobi to replace you. You will start setting up tomorrow morning. Meet at the front of the village for further instructions."

"Yes sir." They all mumbled and stood, lining out the room. Ayame was silent, Kakashi equally as upset while Guy was at the point of tears."

"No missions." He repeated, Ayame marching away from the pair. She went home and changed, Sayakah already waiting. Her neck had been patched and wrapped although she was still somewhat shaken about the situation. She shared the willpower that had been passed through her parents to Ayame and now her.

Sayakah waited on the bed as Ayame joined her, resting her head against Sayakah's as they lay down.

"I heard Crystal enrolled you to the academy." She hummed. "You're doing excellent already."

"It's all easy things to me." She admitted. "I'm much older and you've taught me so many things that it's child's play at the academy." She admitted. Ayame's arms tightened around her.

"You've still much to learn." She whispered, yawning.

"Goodnight." Ayame purred, drifting off into sleep.

She rose early the following morning, sporting joggers and a sweatshirt. She stepped out, wearing a scarf as well and her hair up in a ponytail.

She walked to the front of the village in the chilly air, stopping once she grouped up with people. They gave her weird, perverted smiles, all being men, and waved.

She felt relieved at Guy's presence, the man wearing his normal jogging suit and scarf while Kakashi wore a sweatshirt and joggers.

She stepped in between them vulnerably, only brushing their shoulders.

"Thank you all for volunteering." An old man yelled. "We're in charge of setting up the parade to make this year the best year! I want to dive right into this and potentially get this done early."

"These people are a bunch of weirdos." Ayame whispered, her mouth hidden behind her scarf. "Who would want to volunteer for this?"

"Maybe they're in the same boat as us." Kakashi hummed.

"We will start with decorations. Paper flowers are essential to parades and the children especially love when we throw them out." The man spread paper out on the ground, stepping back.

Kakashi readied a clone jutsu but the man placed a hand over Kakashi's shoulder.

"Slow down there." He smiled calmly. "We don't need any jutsus to make paper flowers."

"I just thought it would speed up the process..."

"Why speed it up? There's no rush." He smiled and stood. Ayame had walked over, standing up straight as she tore a piece of paper. She looked back, feeling someone brush against her rear as they attempted to tear their own piece of paper.

She moved away from the man, only to run into another.

"Watch your step." His smirk made her frustration severe as she glared up at him.

Ayame attempted to retreat to Guy but somebody grabbed her arm.

"Let me go." She snapped. "Or I will beat the shit out of you."

"You've got an amazing body, Uchiha." She slammed her foot on the ground, yanking her arm back and aiming a fist for his head. She stopped, a strong gust of wind blowing through his hair at the action.

"Dumbass." She gritted her teeth and turned, sitting infront of Kakashi.

She easily made multiple flowers, glancing up. Kakashi and Guy were surrounded by wads of paper and were working furiously.

"Do you not know what you two are doing?" She asked, drawing their attention. "Dumbasses, why don't you ask for help?!"

"I was going to be the first one to figure it out." Guy replied, pushing Kakashi with his elbow.

Ayame rolled her eyes and replaced her flower with a piece of paper. "Look." She began to fold the paper, Guy and Kakashi watching intently.

"Oh!" They both exclaimed, eagerly retrieving a new piece of paper and quickly copying her movements.

"Are you two in like a competition or something?" She asked boredly in hopes of bringing up a conversation. Her intention still was not to make friends with the two although she didn't want to be reduced to talking to anyone else there. The old man running the whole program was nice but she did not want to conversate with older people at the time.

"Kakashi's my rival." Guy explained. "We've gone through series of competition yet our rivalry always evens out."

Kakashi shrugged, Ayame looking down.

"Hey, Ayame!" Akiko jogged forward. She squatted down beside her, Akiko's presence bringing chuckles and laughs from surrounding men. "What are you doing here?"

"We got in trouble for disobeying the instructions of a mission." Ayame pouted, hunching her shoulders. Akiko couldn't help but giggle before she waved to Kakashi and Guy.

"Hey you two." She smiled. Guy gave her a small wave although Kakashi merely glanced up at her.

Akiko crossed her arms and squatted infront of him.

"Hey Kakashi!" She yelled. He looked up at her and narrowed his eyes, earning a glare back.

"Hey, Akiko." He huffed. Her scowl curled into a smile in triumph as she stood.

"See how easy that was?" She mused, Kakashi shaking his head light-heartedly. He stood, brushing past Akiko.

"Hey!" Ayame called. "Where are you going?"

"I've got to use the bathroom." He answered bluntly, walking off.

Ayame turned to Akiko and Guy, narrowing her eyes. "Alright spill it. What's his deal?"
