Ayame sat down beside Kakashi as the nurse left, leaning back.
"Sorry you're stuck." She mused as he sighed.
"It sucks."
"Incredibly..." Ayame looked at him, rubbing his head gently.
"Atleast they're treating you well. I bet the IV bags suck though."
"Truly." He mumbled. She yawned, laying down beside him.
"Tired?" He asked as Ayame glanced at him.
"Yes." She replied honestly and gave a exhausted sigh.
"Goodnight." He mumbled as she sat up briefly. Ayame planted a small kiss on his head and laid back down, curling underneath the covers.
"Goodnight, Kakashi." She whispered, sleep overcoming her.

I guarded my face as my classmates pushed me around in a large circle, pouring the milks from their lunches atop my head."You're such an idiot, Ayame." A boy grunted as he pushed me down onto the ground. I felt tears well in my eyes as I wiped the milk with my arm.
The children moved away from me as I ran out the schoolyard, subdued by the streets. The villagers avoided me, not even daring a glance at me. I slowed down to a simple walk, dragging my feet with each step.
These were the memories I was lucky enough to have. As a child, never feeling accepted or any sort of love. Running away from situations became a habit for me.
"Oh no." I looked up for the first time at a voice. "What'd they do to you?"
Jiraiya picked me up on his lap, helping me squeeze the milk from my hair. He was the only one in the village who tolerated me, but sadly he usually left for missions often.
"Ayame, you-" he stopped, his gaze locking with mine. They took on a look of terror and he froze rigid.
A hand landed on my shoulder, but I couldn't move or turn my neck.
"Good job." A deep voice hit my ears, making me flinch. "You already seem to have a grip on the sharingan." Jiraiya's eyes had started to bleed and suddenly he collapsed. I screamed, running back into the legs of the deep-voiced man.
"Look." I turned my head around, crying at the sight of the bodies of villagers. "This is what you've done."
"No!" I threw my hands over my ears, choking at the sight of Kakashi holding Sayakah. "Stop it!" He knelt infront of me and I gasped at the sight of Madara Uchiha. I stepped back but he grabbed my wrist forcefully.
"We will come." He promised.
Ayame shot up from the dream, staring at the wall.
What was that?
She never had dreams and when she did, they seemed to be just a memory replaying in her head. But this one, this one was weird. Madara Uchiha, her great grandfather, had passed away long ago. Why was he all of the sudden in her dream, healthy?
She looked down at Kakashi to see him sound asleep, wincing at the sight of him in her dream. Ayame laid down, noticing he had managed to wrap an arm loosely around her waist.
Moving against his chest, Ayame felt a wave of relief wash over her. She rested her head on his chest and hugged him, sighing.
It was hard to fall back into sleep, but once she did, it was a dreamless night as usual.
Ayame awoke to Kakashi's arm being moved around her, She heard him give a grunt and slowly sat up. The nurse sat, tending to the iv bag as he moved to lay on his back.
"Good morning." The nurse seemed to force a pleasant tone in her voice. She shot Ayame a look that made her narrow her eyes. I'm not in the mood to deal with bullshit.
"Is there something on my face?" Ayame asked bitterly, wiping her face before flicking her off.
"Ayame." Kakashi hid his amusement as she sat up.
"Excuse me?" The nurse turned.
"I'm not blind." Ayame reminded her. She moved beside Kakashi, ignoring the red-head as she set down her tools.
"Tell me where you feel any pressure." There was a drip of seduction in her voice as Ayame watched her carefully feel down his arms. She moved to his chest, inching closer and closer to his legs.
"Uhh.." He mumbled awkwardly as Ayame grabbed her wrist.
"Back up." She snapped. The nurse was fairly pretty with dark grey hair up in a bun. She had a bust large like Tsunade's and curves even in the terrible outfit of her's.
"I'm a nurse." She reminded Ayame. "Can I please just work in peace?"
"Ayame, it's alright." Kakashi assured her as she released the nurse's wrist unwillingly and crossed her arms. Once more, she started at his neck and continued down. Ayame glanced up at her as she moved down, becoming eager almost.
Her hand swiftly moved not to his leg, but inbetween it. Immediately, Ayame moved forward, delivering a punch that flew her back into the wall.
Ayame glared at her, Tsunade bursting through the door.
"What is going on?!" She demanded as the nurse slowly stood. Ayame's fist dripped with blood along with the nurse's nose as she gave her a glare. How dare she?
Tsunade moved forward, instructing her to Shizunne as she glared at Ayame.
"Ayame Uchiha, you'd better have a good reason you assaulted one of my nurses."
"She was taking advantage of Kakashi!" Ayame threw her arms up. "She was touching on him."
"That's her job, she's a nurse!" She retorted. Ayame stared at her in confusion, shaking her head.
"No, no. She touched...she touched..." Tsunade urged her on as she pointed in between her legs. Tsunade looked disgusted, glancing at Kakashi.
"Gross." She whispered and Ayame shrugged.
"And that's why I punched her." She finished as Tsunade gave her an eye of suspicion.
"Wait...are you two...?"
"What?" Kakashi spoke as Ayame stared at Tsunade. She gave her an expectant look but before Ayame could process anything to say, Jiraiya burst through the door.
"Tsunade." He grabbed her wrist and pulled her out the room.
Ayame turned to Kakashi before glancing at the door.
"I'll...see you later." She gave a dismissing smile before leaving his room. She headed home, surprised to find it empty.
"Sayakah must be with her team." Ayame assured herself. She turned around, gasping at the sight of Ibiki.
"Ayame." He dipped his head respectfully. "I'm glad to see you again."
"Ibiki." She smiled warmingly. "It's great to see you too. How's the Anbu been?"
"Good, good. Actually, that's why I wanted to speak to you....Last time I saw you, you were a group leader. I want to now promote you as a leader amongst all groups."
"But isn't that y-"
"I won't be around forever, Ayame." He reminded her. "Besides, when I'm not around, you'll be around."
"Sir...it's an honor." She dipped her head as he handed over a white hood
