Ayame didn't speak much to Sayakah on their way home nor at dinner. As she laid down, Sayakah crawled into bed and pressed her back to Ayame's.

"I'm sorry." She sobbed, Ayame's eyes opening. "Please don't be mad at me."

"Sayakah, stop crying." She mumbled. "Uchihas don't cry."

Sayakah whimpered into her pillow, Ayame forcing herself into sleep.

"You fool!" A roar opened her eyes and she stared forward at the cage. The lion inside roared and paced.

"You were a fool! Summoning Chuichi to take down that damned boar Sus Scrofa! How dare you?!"

"Hey!" She scratched her head calmly. "Shut the hell up, would you?!"

"I'll end your life!"

"In that cage?" She snapped, cocking her head. "What's the problem, huh?"

"Why have you returned to the Leaf?!" He demanded.

"Why does it matter to you?"

"I'm trying to protect us!" He roared.

"Who the hell are you?!" She yelled back. He turned his head away as Ayame slammed her fist against the bar.

"Answer me, dumbass!"

"You've been on this earth for nearly 17 years and you still don't know who I am?" He scoffed. Ayame glared up at him as he turned.

"I️ am Auriel." He introduced bitterly.

"What are you protecting us from?"

"You shouldn't have summoned Chuichi. The attacker was allowed to leave and he now has knowledge that a red haired Uchiha girl has the ability to summon one of the rarest summonings whenever she wants. "

"I can handle myself." She assured him, the lion growling.

"You let your guard down. They're going to come for you and the ones you love." He huffed.

"I love no one." Her reply made him burst in laughter.

"Now what about your little sister?"

"She's fine." She grumbled. The lion leaned down.

"You've got some burning hatred towards that man, Kakashi." He noted.

"He has no business with me nor Sayakah." She growled. He laughed, quirking an eyebrow.

"You will need him one day. Don't keep pushing him away." The lion advised to Ayame who rolled her eyes.

"Whatever Big Fella." She looked back as the light began to brighten gradually.

"Until next time." Ayame threw up two fingers as she disappeared, leaving the lion to growl in silence.

Ayame opened her eyes, sitting up in her bed. She looked to her right to see Sayakah completely gone. Her window was open and Sayakah's pile of academy clothes still sat in the corner. Ayame stood and walked to her door, taking a kunai from out from the note left.

"We have her. If you want her back, meet at the Final Battle Waterfall. We wait."

Ayame ran the note to the Hokage's building where Kakashi and Guy sat. Ayame was livid, pacing back in forth as lord Third looked it over.

"There's no doubt it's the Village Hidden in the Sand. But what do they want with Sayakah?"

"To lure Ayame out." Sarutobi hummed. "Kakashi will lead a squad out at sundown to retrieve Sayakah."

"What?!" Ayame roared. "No, I'm going to get her!"

"They want you." He reminded her, attempting to pacify her. "Kakashi is very capable of retrieving her. If you go, that's only giving the Hidden Sand what they want. You. Having you on our side only makes the Leaf stronger."

She stared at him, balling her fist. Ayame turned and stormed out.

"Don't let her go after Sayakah on her own." Sarutobi sighed. Kakashi nodded and walked out, Guy quick behind.

Ayame stormed out of the building as Kakashi grabbed ahold of her arm. She turned, her eyes widening.

"We're going to get her back." Kakashi promised. His eyes widened as her lip began to quiver, tears forming in her eyes.

"Kakashi!" She fell to her knees and bowed. "Please, help me! Sayakah's all I have- I can't loose her!" She wailed although a tear never fall from her eyes. "If we wait, they'll kill her! I won't go-I promise but please leave now!"

Kakashi knelt down, lifting her head. She bit her lip as he placed her hand against her cheek.

"We'll leave now." He promised. She leaned forward, enveloping him in a hug. Her hand ran over the back of his vest, leaving a faint small paw print on his back. She smiled, Guy helping her to her feet.

"Thank you two." She whispered nervously. Kakashi nodded as the pair turned. Ayame's frown curled into a triumphant smirk and she headed for the library.

Her Justu she would be using was a modification of the second and first Hokage's jutsus for teleportation. It took some of her Sage chakra and power to move her body from one place to another. Placing the paw print on Kakashi was permenately marking him.

She headed home, closing her eyes. Her sharingan tracked the paw print to the edge of the village where they were leaving and followed them until they had made it to the clearing. She was only able to see and feel Kakashi's chakra and noticed it gradually slipping away. She didn't want to defy Sarutobi's rules and go along on the mission anyway, but Kakashi's chakra was nearly drained.
