Her Savior

I close my eyes. This spell that I have not used in a long time drains a lot of energy. But I have to use it. To save her.

I exit my rooms.

Left.

I turn left. The spell guides me though the castle. Finally when I am given no more directions I open my eyes.

A dark, old, wooden door surrounded by Stone.

I don't recognize the park of the castle I'm in. I reach out for the door knob.

"SEVERUS!!! SEVERUS!!!!!" I hear her scream.

"He's not going to save you, darling." With that more screaming.

Bellatrix. I should've known.

I tug on the knob. Locked.

I open it. Wandlessly.

I step in. Bella turns around.

"Why hello,  Severus. Come to join us have you?"

She shoots a spell at me but I duck and hit her right in the nose with my fist. Breaking it.

Blood pouring out of her nose she stands. And we break out into a duel. Spells flying everywhere.

"Avada Kadavra" She screams.

"Protego" I reply.

One of her less harmful spells hits Hermione. And that's when I lose it. I grab her arm and slam her into the wall.

I summon Dumbledore and the aurors and jab my wand into her shoulder. Knocking her out.

I rush over to Hermione.

"Everything's going to be okay now. You're safe darling. You're safe."

I hold her in my arms until Bellatrix is taken away. Sentenced to death by dementors kiss.
