Mr Al Qassim sat on the chair, patiently awaiting his teenage daughter, his source of happiness, she is his last child and the only girl among the family .
He had to admit he pampered her a lot but of course he also scolded her when she does something wrong .
But today he sits thinking how he's going to break the news to her .
Aysha has just graduated from junior school so she's about to proceed to her senior school, he knows of the bond between his daughter and her two friend, khadija and Fatima, they have been inseparable since birth, but today he just received a news from their dad that he and his family are moving to the states .
Now he was surprised and very startled by the news, knowing his daughter is going to miss her two friends, knowing her present school is not going to be as interesting as it was for her before.
"Assalamu Alaikum" he heard the sweet voice of his beloved daughter .
"Wa Alaikum Salaam my dear, you're back ?" He questioned lovingly as the teenager move to sit close to him on the couch.
He and his daughter have always been close, she's known as daddy girl.
He watched her closely as she rambled about her day, she went to visit her elder brother and his family, his heart swelling with love as he look at her, she have grown so much.
"Dad, what's wrong ?" Ever since Aysha stepped in she noticed her father solemn look, the ever twitching eyes are empty, as if something is bothering him .
"Nothing is wrong daddy's princess, I'm just thinking of something " He looked at her thinking of how to tell her that he have decided to change her school and have already finished the procedure.
"You sure ?" She questioned , staring at him .
"Yes I'm sure, it's just, I have decided to change your school to prestige international college " he finally blurted, looking at her, noticing her reaction.
"But dad, why ?" Aysha queried pouting her lips, her friends immediately coming to her mind, the thought of leaving them when they have planned so much was saddening .
"Think of it my darling, PIC, it's one of the best schools, and the best for my princess ". He cooed ,trying to win her over with sweet words, his daughter can be stubborn when she want to be.
"But dad ,my friends, I can't just go and leave them dad, we have many plans together ." She protested.
Al Qassim looked at his daughter, if only she knew, that her friends are leaving the country .
"Here's the thing princess ....... Khadija and Fatima are leaving the country, they are moving together with their family." He told her, noticing how her eyes swell up in tears.
Aysha didn't know that, she never heard it before, neither did they tell her, she felt very saddened and her father clearly notice it.
