AYSHA HAD BEEN WORKING AT THE OFFICE ALL DAY, she haven't pray, eaten or done anything at all apart from typing on her computer.

The weather outside was getting cloudy, showcasing the sign that a huge storm was about to hit very soon. Aysha looked out the window, with a sigh she continued working, she's not leaving here until she's done.

A few minutes later, the storm started in full force, stomping the roof with its harsh drops. Aysha looked up at the clock, ten fifty five pm, she paused a little to hear if they are sounds of another human in the building but they were none, she's the only one at work she concluded.

'im almost done ' She sighed and continue her work, promising herself that she won't leave until she's done. Her phone lights up showing an incoming call from Ahmad, Aysha rolled her eyes, that's the fifties time, ' can't he take a hint?' With a hiss, she power off the phone, she have already gotten thirty messages from him, all asking where she is.

"Take a chill pill Ahmad." She muttered and continued working.

AHMAD SAT ON THE CHAIR, his eyes fix on the clock, watching it as it slowly ticks. It's dark outside, eleven minutes after twelve, the cry is busy brawling it's eyes out, falling heavily. It look pretty scary.

Ahmad looked down at his phone, zero messages, zero calls nothing, worried he stood and walked to the window and peeped out. He thought to go out and search for her, but later sat down. They might miss ways.

Where is she?
He had been calling, sending voicemail, messages but no reply, he was worried, why the hell would a marry woman still be out by that time of the day? Or morning rather!

He thought of calling her family but he didn't want to worry them, he called her friends and they all mentioned she's not with them.

If something happens to her.....

No don't think that Ahmad ,she will be fine...He tried to reassured himself, the sound of a car honking drove him out of his thoughts, as he saw the gate an running to open the door, releasing a breath he didn't know he held, he muttered "Alhamdulillah."

Aysha opened her car door and ran out, trying to avoid the rain from touching her. Successfully in the veranda, she pulled out her phone and was strolling through it when she noticed a presence and looked up.

"Oh hey, you're still awake, why weren't you sleeping? " She asked, moving to lay a kiss on his cheek and moving to continue typing away while she unconsciously dropped her back on the couch. Ahmad ran to her and hugged her, startled she hugged him back.

"Are you OK habibty? Where were you?" Ahmad frantically questioned.

"Of course I'm okay!" She moved out of his arms and sprawled on the couch, Ahmad moved to sit next to her.

"I had been calling you, I sent a million text messages, countless voicemails but you weren't answering, I was worried."

"oh I'm so sorry, I just decided not to pick up, I didn't think it was important." She replied apologizing but sounding rude at the same time.

Wasn't important?

Wasn't important?

"it wasn't important?" Ahmad fumed, getting angry, he just spent hours waiting for this girl, and she is trying to tell him that she thoughts it wasn't important?.

"Habibty, I your husband called you so many times, I was worried and you're telling you didn't think it wasn't important?"

Aysha's lip quivered, she hates when she's been screamed at. " I didn't know that going to work was such a crime, we had this conversation before, I told you about the nature of my job, I thought you understand, you called and I was busy and now you're screaming at me!" She lamented, voice quivering.

Ahmad instantly felt guilty, he knows his wife, as much as she's a workaholic, she has a heart of gold, sure she can be rude but she's actually the sweetest person he knows. "I'm sorry habibty." He apologized, hugging her from behind, when she didn't replied, he continued " I just, I love you so much, you know that, I thought something happened to you and when you didn't answered, I was terrified." her from behind ,she didn't reply so I continue "

"Okay, I'm tired, I want to sleep." She mentioned and stood up to make her way upstairs, After fir a few minutes Ahmad made his way up to tguer bedroom, after taking a trip to the bathroom, he made to lie down next to her.

He wrapped his arm around her waist and she stiffened up." Ahmad, I'm tired!"

"I know I just want to hold you. "Ahmad whispered.

"I'm feeling hot " She complained and removed his hand, picking up a pillow and moving to the other room.

'But it's cold" Ahmad muttered.

And that was the beginning of his problems.
