Aysha was in shock. Pregnant. She was pregnant, while that seemed like good news to other it was the most heartbreaking news to her.
Her heart was pounding and blood was rushing to her ears. What was she going to do? How could she possibly raise a child?
And Ahmad? She knew he would be happy but was she?
She was confused on what step to take after her realisation.
She knew there was only one thing to do. She had to abort the baby.
But first she needed to go to the hospital and comfirm it.
It was going to be a long day of work, that she knew.

At exactly twelve pm, she made her way to Nazamiye hospital, she didn't want to risked it and go to Ahmad hospital. She knew she would see him or see someone that knew her and then she would be busted.
Making her way to the receptionist, she was directed to the laboratory where they ran a blood test on her. She was asked to come back the next day and she left. Making her way back to the office. It was the day of promotion and she knew she was going to get it.
If her boss calling her the new MD didn't give her a clue then nothing else would.
She entered at the same time the stage was set, it was a small gathering, just the co workers and share holders.
After the brief speech from the now MD, her name wss called to stage and she was announced as the new Managing director of Daisy Magazine.
With a smile she said her speech and walked off the stage, answering the congratulatory remarks from her colleagues.
She picked up her phone and called Ahmad. He picked up on the second ring. He must have been free.
"Hey wifey, how's my new MD doing." He asked. And she smiled.
"I didn't get it baby." She teased, making her voice sound like she was sad, a few seconds of silence and Ahmad bellowed.
"What? Why? How can they not give you? You're the best worker. You know what? Who cares about then? I can just open your own magazine company. Do they know who you are? Dr Ahmad bin Hussein wife and they dared not give you the position? I'm going have a one on one with that your boss." He rambled and She busted out laughing. She sat down holding her stomach and still laughing because it was funny.
"Babe, calm down, I got it." She managed to speak out admist her laughter.
"Better. Your boss would have been in trouble." He chuckled. "Congratulation my love, I knew you would get it. My smart wife."
"Thank you Doctor Ahmad, I'm honoured you hold me in high regards."
"Oh baby, you're number one on the list."
"I have to hang up now, I just saw my boss making his way to ms, laters."
"Laters baby, love you." And they hung up.
"Ayshs..congratulation.."
