THE NEXT MORNING, they woke up with a knock on the door, Aysha groaned and adjust her position, pulling the blanket up to her nose and snuggling into Ahmad more.

"Baby, I have to check who is at the door." Ahmad said and proceeded to stand up but Aysha stranded him until she's basically on top of him.

Ahmad chuckled and looked at her with adoration, he was so in love with her he didn't know what he would do if she ever left him.

"Baby, please, it might be important." He pleaded and with a irritated sigh she flipped to her side of the bed and allowed him the access to stand up.

He lay a kiss on her forehead and stood up. He was only in his underwear, so he picked up a jallabiya and put it on.

The knock became persistent, sounding every second, with frustration irking his body he walked down the stairs faster and yanked the door open.

"Mubarak?" He questioned, even though Mubarak was a friend, they really were not close, so Ahmad seeing him outside his house so early in the morning was very surprising.

"Hey man won't you invite me in?" Mubarak asked and walked in before Ahmad could reply.

"Wa Alaikumul Salaam to you too!" Ahmad retorted sarcastically, with a shrug Mubarak sat down on the chair and crossed his legs.

"Where's our wife, let her come and do her job and prepare breakfast for me." Mubarak said, moving his head as if searching for Aysha, if he had looked at Ahmad he would had known he said something wrong.

"I don't think it's her job to cook for you." Ahmad defended calmly, although he was burning inside, how dare he!.

"Uh it basically is, I mean friend a husband is also the husband, he can fill in whenever the husband is not around to perform certain jobs " To any other person listening, it sounded like a genuine remark from a friend but to Ahmad it sounded like a threat, there was an evil glint in the eyes of Mubarak and the fact that he licked his lips while speaking did not sit right with Ahmad.

"I think you should go." Ahmad said hastily, afraid that if Mubarak spent even a single second more he would do something he will regret.

"Why? I have not even seen our sexy wife yet." Mubarak dismissed.

"Yeah I think you should go, or you won't be able to see anything for a while." Ahmad said calmly but with such deep reasoning that Mubarak immediately felt the anger resonating from his body.

With a smile, he raised his hands up "Calm down man, I'm going." and with that he walked out.

Leaving Ahmad with a tight fist and anger boiling inside, now he gets why Aysha hates him.
