Hell, yes! I'm on a roll with these updates!

Continuation of the last chapter-

Y/n P.O.V.

"Run." I mouthed to Max, wiping paint off my face. Filch blocked the door, scowling in a disapproving manner.

"I know a passage that can get us out of here," Max grabbed my hand in his own, pulling me away from Filch. He pushed aside a bookshelf, dragging me into a brightly lit tunnel.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked quietly. Filch's footsteps indicated that he was following us.

"I have no idea where this leads." Max sighed, still pulling me forward. I stumbled, ramming my head into his back. He suddenly yanked me to the left, pulling me to a windowsill. He pressed me close to the wall, placing a finger on my mouth. I squirmed, Filch's steps increasing in volume as he approached.

"Click," The window behind me opened. I fell backward, grabbing onto Max's shirt. If I was going down, he was coming with me. I tumbled out the window, ultimately falling. My back hit the hardwood of a classroom floor. I pushed Max away from me, closing the window. This was another secret passage in the school.

A sudden urge to push the twins out the window filled me. They would think they were going to die and then BAM! They'd be safe and terrified of my awesome teleportation skills. It was the perfect prank.

"Y/n?" Max asked from the floor. He rubbed his head, looking around. "Why are we in- wait, are we in Professor Mcgonogal'soffice?

"Ding-dong! Do-we-do-we." a resounding clock in the room sang out the notes for a new hour. "Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang, bang," it chirped 12 times.

"Y/n, I have a great idea. We should grab a time-turner and go back to keep Filch occupied. That way we don't get in trouble for making a mess!" Max exclaimed, beginning to ruffle through the papers on the desk behind me.

I shrugged. "Sure. Maybe we can keep our glitter and paint disaster from even happening in the first place!" I got off of Professor's desk and began rummaging through the room. Time passed slowly. I glanced at the clock. The clock read 12:30.

"We've shuffled through everything in this room! Where could the time-turners be?" Max huffed in exasperation. Something golden hung in the clock.

"They're in the clock," I said suddenly, leaning forward. I opened the glass belly of the clock, my fingers delicately touching a time-turner. I picked it up hesitantly by the chain. This small device could change the fate of my life. Scratch that! This device could change the fate of the world!

I turned to face Max, smiling. "It's 12:34. We should go." He said suddenly. I nodded.

"It's 12:35! I'm going in there!" A voice on the other side of the door yelled. The door exploded open, Fred and George standing, wands pointing at us. They each shot a spell.

Fred's spell hit the time-turner dangling from my hand; George's spell hitting me. My body collapsed, my conscientiousness hovering above my body. I was white, slightly transparent. I spun forward and in a circle, unable to control my movement in the air.

"Boys, why is my body on the floor? Why am I up here? Why am I not in my body?" I asked sourly. I glanced at the time-turner. It had become transparent, floating int eh air. It spun backward, increasing its speed by the moment.

"A disembodiment spell! I can't believe it actually worked!" George informed me. He walked into the room, looking smug.

"Is the time-turner supposed to be doing that?" Fred asked, pointing to the golden, levitating orb in the middle of the room. I shrugged.
