Aphmau

I think I've finally decided.

I'm willing to risk my heart once more.

Time to go outside and fin-

*Ding Dong*

Who could that be?

I walked down the stairs and saw a familiar blonde haired guy.

Garroth.

I opened the door, and he flashed me a smile when he saw it was me.

I returned it and opened the door wider.

"Hey Garroth! Come in!" I greeted as a giddy smile spread across my face.

He gladly accepted my offer and came in.

I closed the door behind him.

"So, what brings you here?" I asked after we sat down on the couch.

He blushed.

"I uh, came to see if you, um, wanted to- uh... hang out..?"

"S-Sure Garroth!" I exclaimed with a smile.

Is he the one that will mend my heart?

I guess we'll have to find out.

"S-So, wanna watch a movie or something?" I asked.

"I-I'd love to, but I don't wanna disterb Katelyn or Kawaii Ch-" I cut him off.

"Don't worry Garroth. Katelyn is hanging out with Nicole at her place, and KC is on a date with Dante." I explained before realizing my mistake.

Shoot!

They wanted to keep that a secret!

"Oh, okay. In that case- WAIT WHAT!?" He yelled in shock.

"W-W-What!? I-I said KC went on a date with... uh, this guy she met named David! Yeah, that's it!" I yelled back, trying to cover up my mistake.

"O-Oh.. I thought you said Dante." He laughed.

I laughed nervously.

"Y-Yeah! That would be strange! I totally did not say Dante. A-Anyways, lets watch a movie!"

"Wow Garroth! That was a really good movie!" I exclaimed as the credits began to roll.

"Y-Yeah! I really enjoyed it.. thanks for watching it with me Aph." He said as I turned my attention back to him.

I blushed.

I-Is he looking at my lips!?

"G-Garroth?" I questioned nervously.

Before I could say anything else, he began to lean forward.

W-Wait.. Is he doing what I think he's doing..?

Don't jump to conclusions Aph.

Why would he still be leaning forward if he wasn't going to kiss me?!

Calm yourself.

HE JUST CLOSED HIS EYES!

Our lips touched.

My eyes grew wide as I realized what was happening.

Garroth.

 My first kiss.

 The guy that I liked since high school 

Is kissing me right now.

I allowed myself to melt into the kiss.

Wait..

All the things I just thought about him are true..

but,

He's also the guy that tried to sabotage my relationship with Aaron.

The guy who is the older brother of the man who just broke my heart.

I pulled away and he looked at me confused.

His eyes widened.

"A-Aphmau I am so sorry, I don't know what came over me! I know that your still not over Zane and I ju-" I cut him off.

"I-It's okay Garroth.. I kinda... liked it..." I started.

His eyes widened.

"R-Reall-" I cut him off again.

"B-But... I-I am pretty much over Zane, and I'm looking for love.. A-A part of me still has feelings for you, however you are the older brother of the man who just broke my heart 3 weeks ago... I'm sorry it just.. I just-"

 He smiled at me.

"It's okay Aphmau. I understand. A part of me will always love you Aph. Even if we don't end up together. If you do want to be with me, I will wait for that day."

His smile then disappeared. "But I can't wait forever Aph. If you take to long to decide, I will look for love elsewhere.. I-I don't mean to sound rude, but I don't want to live my life chasing love that isn't even there. I hope you can understand that.."

My heart shattered when I heard this.

If he truly loved me, he would wait for me forever- no matter the consequence.

I might have given him a chance, but at the moment, I'm not sure I can ever do that.

"...I-I understand.." I said sadly.

"I'm sorry Aph I just-" 

"I-It's okay.. I-I'm a little busy for the rest of today, so I think it's best that you leave. Thanks for hanging out with me." I stated.

He nodded at me and walked out the door.

I closed it behind him and sunk down to the floor.

Why would he say that?
