Aphmau

I groaned to myself as my eyes began to open.

Where am I?

Oh yeah...

I remember now.

I sat myself up a bit and surveyed my surroundings.

Zane was asleep in the chair that was right next to my hospital bed.

I wonder whe- GAH!

When did Zane get here!

Awe...

He's so cute when he's asleep.

I smiled to myself.

It's great to see him.

Thank Irene he's okay....

A sudden jolt of pain shot through my arm.

"Ughh!" I groaned in pain.

Why does it hurt so bad!?

I mean yes I was shot, but still!

I winced as the pain grew stronger.

What the heck is wrong with my arm right now!?

It hasn't hurt this bad before...

A loud beeping noise began.

"What the..." A sleepy Zane voice mumbled.

Dang it,

Now Zane's awake.

Thanks a lot strange beeping noise!

"A-Aphmau! Thank Irene you're okay!!" He practically yelled while pulling me into his embrace.

"It's so great to see yo- ahhh!" I shouted in pain as the intensity grew.

He quickly pulled away.

"I'm getting the nurse!" He said frantically while getting up and running out the door.

Why is this pain so strong?

What's going on?

Why is she in so much pain and why was that beeping noise going off?

Stop Zane. There's no time to think about that.

I turned another corner and found the nurse walking the other direction.

"Hey! Nurse!" I hollered.

She stopped and turned around to face me.

"Oh hey Zane! How are you two lovebirds do-" I cut her off.

"It's Aphmau! There's something wrong!" I stated frantically.

Her smile turned into a concerned face.

"Then let's go." She stated while jogging ahead of me.

I nodded in agreement.

 Help is on the way Aph.

"This isn't good..." The nurse stated as she ran over to a machine that was hooked up to Aph.

She turned to me.

"Zane, here pretty soon I'm gonna need you to leave." She admitted sadly.

I nodded.

The nurse ran over to get some things, and came back with some needles, IV's, and a mask-type thing.

She put the mask onto Aphmau's face, which covered her mouth and nose.

"Okay Aphmau, don't be scared. This is surgery medicine. It will make you fall asleep. We have to do an immediate surgery because something went wrong. This will be over soon." She said with a smile.

Aphmau nodded and closed her eyes.

The nurse put a few needles and IV's into Aphmau's arms as more doctors came in.

"I'm gonna need a 29- stat!" One of the doctors stated.

"Okay people! Let's move out. This needs to happen right now." Another doctor said while beginning to wheel Aphmau's hospital bed out of the room.

"Sir, I think it's best if you go home. We will call you to the hospital tomorrow if everything goes well." A doctor advised.

I don't want to leave...

but I have to.

"Okay... Take care of her." I requested while walking to the elevator.

I'll be back tomorrow Aphmau.

I promise.

Just stay strong.
