The nurse

I walked down the hall to get to Aphmau's room.

Room 209.

*Knock Knock Knock*

"Come in," A muffled voice hollered from inside the room.

I walked in and smiled when I saw Zane and Aphmau holding hands.

"Okay guys, I have some good news for you! Aphmau is free to go tomorrow!" I announced cheerfully.

The couple's faces lit up when I said these words.

I'm honestly happy that they get to go home.

...But at the same time I'm a bit upset because I won't get to 'acedintaly' walk in on my ship anymore.

"Thank you so much!" Zane thanked while squeezing Aphmau's hand.

The girl's smile only grew.

I returned this gesture.

"I'll be leaving now. Come get me if you need anything!" 

The girl nodded. "Of course."

I gave them a smile while exiting the room.

I sighed to myself and smiled as I shut the door.

Those lovebirds.

*Ring Ring Ri-*

Hm?

Could that be Zianna? Or maybe my Mejia finally decided to give me a call.

"Hello?" I answered in a sing-song voice.

"Um, Hello ma'am. Is this Silvan-" I cut him off.

"Silvanna? Yes, is there something wrong? I don't recognize this number." I admitted while grabbing my coffee.

"This is Dr. Khatien from the hospital. I'm here to inform you about your daughter." A male voice stated.

Aphmau?

Is she in the hospital?

"Uh, did something happen?" I asked quickly while getting nervous.

Aphmau almost never does to the hospital. 

I mean, of course there are annual check-ups and stuff, but that's besides the point!

I lifted the coffee to my lips and took a sip while waiting for a response.

"I'm so sorry to inform you that she was shot a few weeks ag-" I cut him off by spitting out what coffee. 

"WHAT!?" I yelled while choking on my coffee.

"I apologize this information just got to you. We were unaware you hadn't been informed." He confirmed calmly.

"So what you're telling me is that MY DAUGHTER  was SHOT and none of your staff decided to inform her mother !? What hospital is this? I'm coming right now!" I shouted while grabbing my keys and running out the door.

"Ma'am. I can tell you that she is making a quick recover-" I cut him off for the millionth time.

"WHAT HOSPITAL IS IT!" I repeated in a threatening tone.

".....The Phoenix Hospit-" 

"I'm on my way." I stated before he could finish.

"Ma'a-" I hung up before he could say anything else.

MY DAUGHTER WAS SHOT AND NO ONE THOUGHT TO INFORM ME FOR WEEKS.

I need to tell Zianna all about this asap.

Mejia.

I'm on my way.

And I will bring out the Chacla on whoever did this to you.

Ayeeeeeeee! I'm so sorry this chapter took a while to get out. I've had some problems with my internet recently. I'm actually finishing this at Starbucks right now if I'm being honest xD.
