Aphmau's POV

I looked out my window to enjoy the night sky as soon as Zane left.

It's great to have him back.

I really missed him.

He's been my best friend for so long.

And even more than that.

I couldn't be more happy.

I should probably go to bed.

It's been a long day.

I was about to move away from the window, but something caught my eye.

"What the... Is that Aaron? His house is in the other direction..." I mumbled to myself.

Great.

Now I'm talking to myself again.

(Same Aphmau, same.)

I know it's none of my business, but I'm really curious where he's- wait...

IS THAT A GUN!?!?

Where could he be going that he would need a gun?

This is not good...

It can't be.

He must be up to something.

I grabbed a jacket and my phone and started walking out the door.

It's probably dangerous to follow him, especially alone, but no one else is home and I have to make sure he doesn't do anything bad.

I stayed about 20 feet behind him, and stayed on the other side of the road to stay out of his view.

Now where could this guy be going?

He doesn't look like he's going very far which concerns me.

We're really close to my house right now.

If he's not going far, then he's staying in the neighborhood.

He turned right and began walking up to a house.

This house looks familiar..

It's defiantly not his though.

Wait..

THAT'S ZANE'S HOUSE!

Irene no....

He better not do what I think he's doing..

Would he go that far just to get me back?

He opened the door to Zane's house while using the spare key and casually walking inside.

Shoot...

I pulled out my phone and quickly got out of sight.

"911 what's your emergency?" The 911 operator asked.

"Sir, A dangerous man I know just walked into my friends house with a gun, I'm freaking out, please send someone quick!" I pleaded while trying to keep my voice down.

"Okay ma'am. I need you to give me an address and I will send cops your way." He assured me.

"Oh thank Irene! The address is 5489 W. MyStreet Lane." I answered while taking deep breaths.

"Thank you. The cops are on their way." He promised as I hung up.

Okay Aphmau, calm down.

The cops are on their way.

Everything is fine.

Ugh!

I feel like I need to be in there...

I quietly approached the door and peered through the window.

Oh no...

Aaron raised the gun towards Zane's heart...

Aphmau!

Get in there already.

I took a deep breath and looked for the spare key Zane gave me a while ago.

I quickly shoved it into the door and burst through it just in time to hear Aaron say, "Goodbye Zane."

I jumped in front of him as the sound of a gunfire was heard.

I instantly felt a jolt of pain go through me as the world around me went dark.

Ayeeee! We're getting close to the end of the book! I'm super exited! I really hope I can get this book completed for you guys tonight, but if I don't it should be done by tomorrow.

That's all I've got for now.
