I raised my hands in the air as I was instructed to.

"Both of you get in the car." One of the cops ordered.

I obeyed willingly, but Aaron however, well... he had to be taken by force.

I guess I'll have to be questioned.

I honestly don't mind as long as my Aphmau is okay.

"This is Commander Erwin of Police Squad #27. I'm going to need a medic. We have a 329er. Yes sir. Massive blood-loss, sir. Thanks. Over and out." I overheard one of the police officers request into his walky talky.

Massive blood-loss....

If she doesn't survive this I'm gonna kill Aaron.

Even if it costs me a life sentence.

Where am I?

I opened my eyes and sat up the best I could.

"Ouch!" I yelped as I tried to prop myself up with my arm.

"Hmm? Oh Aphmau! You're awake!" A feminine voice smiled.

I turned to see who was talking.

A.. nurse?

What happened?

"Huh? What happened? Why am I in the hospital?" I questioned.

"Oh, well you kinda got shot by your crazy ex boyfriend, but that's no problem! You'll be good to leave in a few days." She reminded me.

Oh right.

I kinda saved Zane.

Wait- I hope I saved him...

Did he get shot?!

Is he okay!??!

I frantically looked in the nurses direction.

"Uh, was anyone taken here? M-My boyfriend was caught up in that mess and I need to know he's okay-" She cut me off.

"Mr. Ro'mave is fine. He was taken into questioning, but after proof of what happened from his security cameras, it's quite obvious that he's innocent. He'll be up here soon. He's been very worried about you." She assured me.

I let out the breath that I didn't realize I was holding in.

If anything happened to him....

I...I don't know what I would've done.

"Now," The nurse began with a soft smile. "You should get some rest. You have a lot of recovery to go through."

I nodded at this.

"Thank you for everything," I smiled while pulling the covers of the hospital bed over me.

My eyes slowly began to close and the world went black.

"When can I see her?" I asked impatiently.

Aphmau's been out for over a day now, and I'm becoming incredibly worried.

"Sir, we need you to be patient. We're doing everything we ca-" I interrupted him

"Look, Aphmau is the person who means most to me in this world. She's my best friend, my girlfriend, and the person I plan on marrying. I can't just be calm when I know she's in pain!" I yelled as tears formed in my eyes.

The nurse just looked at me, and then smiled.

"I'm glad you care so much. I'll allow you back. Just don't tell anyone. I'm not aloud to let you see her just yet." She smiled.

I returned this gesture and followed her back into the room.

She stopped and looked back at me.

"Just between you and me, I ship it."

I just blushed.
