I giggled at my little 4 year old.

"Mommy... why is your tummy so big?" Jasmine asked, while looking up at me with her big hazel eyes.

I chuckled nervously while looking over at Zane for reassurance.

He gave me a smile, along with a nod.

I returned his smile while giving my attention back to Jasmine.

"Well... Jasmine, how do you feel about having a little brother?"

Her eyes lit up.

"I want one! Abby has one!" She exclaimed, referring to Jeffery's little girl.... and now, Katelyns too.

Yeah... a lot's happened in these few years.

Katelyn ended up with Jeffrey, and they're currently engaged...

They have Abby (obviously)
And a little boy named Keith, who's only 5 months old.

I was really surprised when she told me she was pregnant.

But that's besides the point!

I gave her another sweet smile.

"Well mommy has a surprise for you! Any day now you'll be getting one!" I giggled.

She grinned.

"I'm gonna be a big sister!"

I smiled again while nodding. "Yes you will"

I smiled at Jasmine while closing the bedtime story I had just read her.

"Goodnight Jasmine," I whispered softly while kissing her on the check and putting the book back on the shelf.

I gave her one last glance before quietly closing the door and walking back to Zane and I's bedroom.

As I climbed into bed I felt a pair of eyes watching me.

I giggled to myself and turned around to see Zane.

"Did you plan on watching the latest episodes without me?" I asked, placing my hand over my heart dramatically, trying to emphasize my point.

"What!? I would never!" He protested while turning off the tv.

I smirked and moved closer to him until our faces were inches apart.

"Are you sure about that~" I whispered in a seductive tone.

He blushed lightly, while beginning to studder. "W-Well, I-"

I cut him off by grabbing the remote from his hand while his defences were down and turning the TV back on.

I gasped dramatically.

"You liar! How dare you try to watch my little horses without me!"

He chuckled at my reaction. "You're cute when you're upset."

A light blush spread across my face, but I quickly shook it off.

"So, let's watch the newest episode and then go to bed. How does that idea sound to you?" I questioned while slightly cocking my head, waiting for his reply.

"Sounds good to me." He shrugged while turning his attention towards the tv.

Soon later I had fallen asleep with my head rested on Zanes shoulder.
