Chapter 29

Aphmau

It's been a week since Zane and I split up, and quite frankly, I'm having a hard time getting over him.

Not only did I lose the man I thought I loved that day, but I also lost my best friend..

Maybe this is just a sign that I'm not ment to find love...

I don't want to find someone new because I don't want my heart to be broken again, however my heart still yearns to find love...

"Gah! It's hopeless!" I yelled to no one in particular.

What am I supposed to do?

Live feeling alone, or put myself at risk for heartbreak yet again?

In one year I've already been betrayed by 2 love interests... I don't need a 3rd...

Then again, it's better to fail trying than to not try at all....

I need advice.

I got up and quickly walked over to Katelyns door.

*knock knock*

"Come in." I heard my familiar blue haired friend holler from inside her room.

I opened the door and saw Katelyn practicing punching with her punching bag.

"Hey Katelyn... can I talk to you for a sec?" I asked as she stopped punching.

"Sure thing Aph," she started as she sat down on her backwards chair. "What's up?"

I closed the door and sat down on her bed.

I sighed. "I feel heartbroken.. In not even a year, I've lost 2 love interests, and didn't even get them back as friends... I feel like I want to try again with someone new, but I don't want my heart to break again.."

She gave me a sad smile. "I hate to break it to you, but Aph, life sucks. It's unpredictable, and just when things are going your way, another hurdle gets thrown at ya."

She sighed and started off into space.

"I would know.." she mumbled.

"So what do you propose I do..? Should I risk my heart or risk my love?" I asked her as she regained focus on me.

"If I were you, I'd wait a few more days. If you still feel like you need love, take the risk. If not, forget about it for now."

I smiled at her.

"Thanks Katie," I exclaimed with a hug.

"Glad I could help. Anyways, I gotta go to Nicole's place. I promised her I'd hang out with her today, and I'm not gonna break it." I watched as she left the room and then followed.

Instead of going down stairs, I went back to my room and turned in Fairy Tail.

It's been a while since I've watched, and I'm pretty behind.

Maybe this will give my mind a break from Zane.

If I go to his place with Katelyn on speed dial it should work out fine...

Okay, I'm going.

Back when Aaron and I were dating, we hung out a lot.

Like a lot.

I often took stuff over to his place such as my playstation, Xbox, and more.

He currently has my Xbox, and quite frequently, I've wanted it back.

I've finally built up the courage to go up to his place and get it back.

I didn't want to bother Katelyn to come with, so instead I have her on speed dial in case I need her.

I pulled into his driveway and carefully got out of my car.

*knock knock*

Strange.

He's usually quick to answer.

I looked around for a second trying to remember if he has a spare key or not.

Aha!

I remember!

He told me that he always keeps a spare key in the flower pot next to the doormat.

I dug in the dirt for a few seconds before pulling out a red key- which was covered in dirt by the way.

I opened the door and heard a loud thump upstairs.

What the heck could Aaron be doing?

I quietly walked up the stairs and gasped at what I saw.

EW!

I can never look at him again...

That.

Is.

Disgusting.

His eyes widened when he saw me, and he pushed the girl who was on top of him off.

"A-Aphmau!? What are you doing here!??!" He studdered as a smirk appeared on his face.

"Have you come to confess you still love me?" He asked flirtaciously.

This made the other girl growl at me.

"Geez I'm just here for my Xbox! A-And please! Put some clothes on you animals!" I yelled as I placed a hand in front if my face, blocking the view.

"Pah-lease." The girl sassed as she walked over to me.

"I look so much better like this." She exclaimed with a hairflip.

I scrunched up my nose in disgust and quickly walked back down stairs.

"Now where were we~" I heard the brunette say to Aaron.

Disgusting.

"Now, what I was here for." I said to myself as I walked over to the TV.

I grabbed my Xbox and put it in the passenger seat of my car.

Now it's time to drive back home, and try to forget about what I just saw...

Ayeeee! It took me a while bit I still kinda got this chapter out in the same day. I mean its past midnight, but its only been an hour sooo yeah.
