Who could be calling me this early?

"Hello?" I answered with a yawn.

"Hello, Zane? This is nurse Ranelle (I don't know xD) from the hospital. I'm so sorry for waking you this early, but I thought you might want to know that you can come see her now. I'm technically not allowed to let you come yet buuut-" I cut her off.

"Really!? Thank you so much. I'm on my way right now. Is she awake?" I asked eagerly while getting out of bed.

"Um unfortunately not yet, but she's doing well." She responded as I walked over to my closet and pulled out my grey sweatshirt.

"Okay, thanks. See ya soon. Bye." I stated while ending the call.

I can finally see her!

I mean, it's only been a few hours since I left, but still!

What time is it anyways?

I pulled out my phone again and clicked the home button to see the time.

5:52 am!?

I was on my asleep for less than an hour?

Then why do I feel so energized?

Maybe I'm motivated by the idea of seeing Aph.

I threw on my sweatshirt and quickly brushed my teeth.

Time to go see her.

I practically ran down the stairs at the thought of her.

I quickly grabbed my keys and ran out to my car.

As soon as I put the key in, I backed out of my driveway and headed in the direction of the hospital.

I'm coming Aph.

I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding when I pulled my car to a stop.

I quickly opened the door and got out.

I don't understand why I'm so anxious.

I saw her a few hours ago.

Maybe I just want to know what's wrong.

Maybe it's the protective side of me acting up.

Maybe I'm just worried something will happen to her again.

I'm honestly not sure.

What I do know however, is that the woman I love is in this hospital waiting for me.

And I'm not gonna let her wait long.

I walked up to the deal and checked in.

"Room 209." The worker stated with a smile.

I couldn't hold back the grin that was stuck on my face.

"Thanks," I thanked while practically running to the elevator.

As soon as the door opened, I slammed my hand onto the 2nd floors icon.

C'mon!

This is taking too long.

Zane.

You just got in here.

Calm.

Down.

When the elevator doors opened again and quickly walked out and turned left.

Room 205, room 206, room 207, room 208, room 209, room 2- wait..

I looked back one door to see the numbers 209.

Bingo.

I softly knocked on the door and waited for a response.

"Come in!" A familiar voice answered.

I walked into the room to see Aphmau unconscious on the hospital bed with many IV's and other things hooked up to her.

I winced at the sight.

"Sorry I called you up so early." The nurse apologized.

"No, no, it's perfectly fine! I'm actually glad you did. I was so worried." I admitted.

She stepped closer to me. "Well now that you're here do you want to know what's happening with her?"

My eyes lit up.

"Yes, please explain."

I sat down in the chair that was pulled up next to Aphmau.

"Okay then. Let's begin."

Ayeeeee! Mwahaha! I love cliffhangers. Okay. That's a lie. I HATE THEM. They make me so upset. Why did I add one in you may ask? You know, I have no idea.
