Chapter 11

It had been a few weeks since Zane and I went on a date. Since then we've only grown closer.

We aren't official yet, but just the thought of him and I together brings a smile to my face.

"Hey Aph," I heard Zane say from the doorway.

"Yeah?" I replied as I brushed my hair.

"Do you wanna go out tonight..?" He asked nervously.

"Is that even a question? Of course!" I exclaimed.

"Cool!" He smiled as he looked at his watch. "It's already 6pm, so we should probably get ready to go."

"Sounds good!" I agreed as I turned to my double bag and searched for the perfect outfit.

"Where are we going?" I asked while digging for something to wear.

"Hmm?" He hummed in response.

"I want to know where we're going so I know how to dress." I explained as I sorted outfits into categories.

Casual, fancy, etc.

"Its a surprise. I would just recommend a mixture of fancy and casual." He suggested as he shrugged.

"So basically a dress, but not a long one." I asked.

"Yeah, sounds good." He replied as he walked out and shut the door behind himself.

I found the PERFECT dress.

(I've done this before in different stories, but I'm bad at describing outfits so I'll put a picture in. If you don't like the dress, then imagine your own. It doesn't affect the story line.)

"Zane I'm ready to go" I called as I walked down the stairs.

I spotted him eyeing me like a hawk as I came down the stairs.

I giggled as he sniled at me.

I could have sworn that I saw Zane blush.

"Let's go!" I exclaimed as I grabbed his hand and walked out the door.

I giggled as he opened the door for me and grabbed my hand.

We walked into a stunning restaurant decorated wall to wall with the most beautiful decorations.

How did Zane afford this!?

You have to make reservations in at least a year in advance!

How did he possibly get In?

"Table for two under Zane Ro'Mauve." I heard him say to the waitress.

"Ah, Mr. Ro'Mauve. Right this way." The waitress replied as she lead us to a candle-lit table. Everything here was so beautiful.

No wonder this place was so hard to get into.

Zane pulled out my chair for me, which by the way was adorable. I sat down and he pushed in in for me.

Gosh he's so adorable.

"Zane, how did you get reservations to this place!? It takes at least a year in advance to get reservations, and it's so expensive!" I stated as he sat down across from me.

He chuckled. "My parents own this restaurant. It's easy for me to get in. Also, since I'm their son I get to eat on the house."

"Really!? That's so cool!" I exclaimed as he laughed to himself.

"Man, I can't remember the last time I saw Zianna. How is she doing by the way?" I asked as I picked up a menu.

"She's doing great. She's the same ol' Zianna as she's always been." He assured as he picked up his menu.

Some time later the waitress came back to take our orders.

"I'll take a coffee- black, a medium rare steak, and some steak sause on the side." He ordered as the waiter wrote on a piece if paper.

"Hmm. I'll take a sweet tea, and some chicken alfredo." I added as the waiter smiled at me and continued to write.

"Okay! I'll be back with your orders shortly." She assured.

I returned my focus to Zane.

I wanted to kiss him right now- but to be honest, when don't I want to kiss him.

The two person tables we so small that you could lean forward a bit and kiss the other person.

That's probably the purpose for the length.

I looked to my left and saw a couple making out at there table.

That's a bit much for a public place if I do say so myself.

But that's just me.

I returned my focus to Zane.

He looked so cute, like always.

Wait, how is he going to eat his food with his mask on?

Is he gonna take it off?

I guess I'll have to wait and see.
