Velvet POV
Coco: alright, Velvet, you stay behind us, we go ahead, apparently this island has many dangerous Grimm
Me: are you sure you don't need my help?
Coco: I think we're good.
Pilot: hey you want me to land it here? Little bit of a walk, but I can't promise any closer
Coco: this is fine, thank you
Fox: what's the mission again?
Coco: find and stop the Grimm from spreading to Villages on the island
Yatsuhasi: is that all?
Me: aren't their tribes on this island, I've been reading up a little on it
Coco: this isn't Skull Island, this is unmarked, they just found this a few days ago, noticed a lot of Grimm activity and people
Me: how did it just appear?
Fox: apparently it's a cursed island, has a nasty fog
Pilot: hold on!!
The bullhead started shaking a lot, a loud bang was heard, then it stabilized.
Yatsuhasi: What was that?
Pilot: I'll check when this thing lands........ok best of luck
We all got out of the bullhead and looked at a giant scratch in the side.
Coco: what the hell?
Pilot: couldn't have been a Nevermore, they can't leave scratches on the hull.
Me: guys......I don't hear anything.....it's quiet...
Fox: and the air here.....it feels heavy.
Yatsuhasi: weird
Coco: alright guys, let's go, I want to see these people we have to protect.
Fox: r-right
We all walked into the forest, Coco pulled out a machete and swung it at some plants blocking the way. The blade snapped off and landed next to me.
Coco: ohohoho, that's not how I play
Coco pulled how her mini gun and started shootings the plants, a huge plume of smoke formed. After she stopped firing, the plants still didn't move.
Me: these plants......(went over to one and touched it) they're as hard as metal
Coco: WHAT!?
Yatsuhasi: ROCKS!
Rocks started falling from the sky.
Me: what's going on?
Coco: VELVET!!
More rocks came from the sky, it was pitch black within minutes, there was a strong ashy feel in the already heavy air. I couldn't see my team anywhere.
Me: WHERE ARE YOU GUYS!!?
A loud ear booming sound was heard, it sounded animal like.
?????: SKRRREEEEEEEEEEONK
I ran away from the sound, onto a beach.
Me: oh no......
I looked behind me to see a bunch of flying creatures, and flying ships. They are large, wonder why they're here.
In the distance there was a sound of distort and the ship immediately blew up, the debris went flying towards me. I moved as fast as I could, a few pieces of metal cut my leg, making me fall, it burned. I looked around some more and I saw the Bullhead, it was extremely far away, I went the opposite way.....it's weird, I swore I went back to it. I saw the engines start up and it starting to move
Me: STOP...PLEASE!!
The bullhead was ten feet in the air and took off as fast as it could.
Me: they left me....*starts breathing heavily* they left me
I started crawling back to the trees, I need to cover this would, it hurts....it hurts so much. I went up and tested myself up against the tree, it was much more rough than the other trees, I took off my coat and wrapped it around my leg, tightening it.
Me: why....why Coco....why
I began tearing up a little, I then heard the sound of rustling.
Me: what could be moving those leaves....I can't even move.....I don't want to die
