You walk into the DX, heading to thefront of the store.
Normally, Steve would greet you with a big smile and his arms open for you, but this time, hejust sat on the stool with a blank expression on his face.
"What's the matter?" You furrow your eyebrows.
"Why don'tyoutellme?" He snaps, not even looking at you.
"How am I supposed to tell you when I don't even know what you'retalkingabout?" I cross my arms.
"Tell me something I don't know." He stands. "For example, the little boyfriendyou've been hiding behind my back,"
You laugh, walking closer to him. "Baby, that's not my boyfriend. You are. Plus, that's my mom's coworker's son. He's new to Tulsa and he needs a friend to guide him through."
He looks at you, then helooks at the people walking into the DX.
"How do I know you're not lying?" He frowns.
"Would I ever lie to you?" You look up at him with an innocent look.
"I guess not," He pulls you in for a hug. "I just don't wanna lose you. You're so precious and adorable, I wanna keep you forever."
