"pass me the orange," dally mumbles as he reaches for the case of chalk. you shook your head, since you were using it to draw a cute little cat. meanwhile dallas was drawing a sunset, so he desperately needed it. he watched you draw it, before he whines and grabbed it from you, "you're taking forever."
"gimme- i wasn't done!" you go to grab it, but he stood up and ran away with it. "dallas, there's plenty of oranges in the pack come on-" you said as you chased him.
"then you use them! i was using the orange first!" he argued and ran back to his small drawing of the sunset. he was trying to finish it, but you crawled onto his back and wouldn't get off until he was finished.
finally, when he was done, you grabbed the orange and sat back down across from him. you looked at his drawing and giggled. "oh, dally, you're going soft." you said and before you could go back to your drawing, he messed it up and mumbled a small 'dingbat' under his breath.
