3 months later...
*Katsu's Pov*
"Ugh so much studying" Cassidy complained.
"I know but we gotta study for our test on Monday. You do realise that right?" I asked. Cassidy sighed.
"Yeah it's just I don't understand any of this shit. Besides, I got bad memory" Cassidy said. I tried to explain to her the basics of maths but she was just as confused as ever. I groaned in frustration and laid my head down on the table.
"Sorry but Maths was never my strong suit. Same with Science" Cassidy said.
"It's not your fault. Everyone sucks at something" I said.
"Doesn't seem like it for you" Cassidy said.
"Come on. Let's stop for today" I said. Cassidy nodded and we both stood up. We gathered our things and walked out of the library. We then went to the park and sat under a tree, watching little kids run around and laugh. Cassidy smiled a little at the scene.
"I remember I used to be a playful and happy child when I was little. Even when I was suffering by bullying" Cassidy said.
"You were a trickster too I assume" I said. Cassidy giggled.
"Kinda. But I was also shy, like I am now" Cassidy said.
"You seem more confident now actually" I said.
"Only because I've gotten used to being around you, that I guess you taught me how to be myself" Cassidy said. I smiled at that. Cassidy smilies back as she looked back into the distance. I stared at her longer then I should have. But I couldn't help it. She seemed so, beautiful, precious and... Innocent that I couldn't help myself but stare.
"You know I'm glad that I met you Katsu. I think if I hadn't met you I would've killed myself already because of all this shit" Cassidy said still looking in the distance. I think I have a crush on her. She reminds me of my sister so much but... I feel more. I blushed at the thought. She then looked at me.
"You okay?" Cassidy asked.
"Yeah! I'm fine!" I said trying to hide my blush. She took off her glove and put her hand on my forehead. She then pulled away.
"You have a temperature Katsu. Do you feel unwell?" Cassidy asked putting her glove back on. Actually now that you mention it.
"I mean I think I do have a slight fever. Since this morning. I just didn't tell my parents because I don't usually get sick" I said. Cassidy sighed.
"Come I'll give you some medicine at least and then you go home and rest" Cassidy said. I nodded as she stood along with me and we walked to her place. She sat me at the table and she went through her medicine cabinet. Just watching her made my heart best faster. I'm pretty sure, this crush, is only a little one. I don't know if it will grow. She sat down next to me with medicine as she got a spoonful.
"Open your mouth" Cassidy said. I raised an eyebrow.
"I'm not a child Cass" I said.
"Katsu. You're sick so take the medicine" Cassidy said. I sighed and opened my mouth as she put the medicine in my mouth. It tasted bitter and sour and I immediately cringed as I had to swallow. I coughed afterwards.
"That's fucking nasty" I said.
"I know" Cassidy said. She put the medicine back in the cabinet.
"Come on I'll walk you home" Cassidy said. I stood up and she ended up walking me home. My parents smiled and thanked for bringing my home before she left to go back.
"Katsu! Why didn't you tell us you had a fever?" Mum said.
"You guys were busy so I didn't bother. Besides it wasn't that bad" I said.
"Even so! You need to rest" Mum said. I sighed and nodded as I went upstairs to my room. I laid down on the bed and stared at the roof. How did I get a crush on Cassidy? Especially when I have a girlfriend? Life is full of surprises I swear. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.
*Cassidy's Pov*
When I got back home I sat down on the couch and started thinking until my thoughts were interrupted.
"I have a feeling Katsu got a thing for Cassidy" Opal said.
"How do you know?" Bailey asked.
"I can sense it" Opal said.
"Katsu having a crush on me? Please can't you guys talk of something else so that you don't think of anymore stupid excuses" I said.
"I'm serious Cassidy. You don't know what he could do" Opal said.
"Pfffftttt, like you guys care anyways" I said.
"Cassidy-" Bailey was cut off.
"I don't want to hear it!" I shouted.
"Fine, go ahead and get raped like two years ago" Opal said.
"Excuse me?" I growled.
"You fucking heard me" Opal growled back.
"Katsu will never do that! And I do not want to hear about my past understand?" I shouted again.
"Sorry what was that?" Opal said.
"Ugh why do I bother?" I said angrily.
"Yeah why do you?" Bailey said.
"Go to hell Bailey!" I growled. They soon disappeared and I held my head. I just want some goddamn peace and quiet. I laid down onto the couch and stared at the light above me. I sighed. Would Katsu really have a crush on me? It's not possible. He's got Muru and I'm not about to break up their relationship. I closed my eyes and took a nap.
*???'s Pov*
I've been watching Katsu and Cassidy for quite some time now. Cassidy was the one I was trying to find in the first place. I need her necklace so that I can break the curse that has been bestowed onto it. If only I can talk to them somehow, without them knowing. Without Opal knowing. I'll have to think of a way. But for now I'll see what happens next.
