*Katsu's Pov*
It's been a month since I became friends with Cassidy. She's starting to open up more and controlling her bullying issues. However the more Muru sees Cassidy with me, she gets more jealous and I'm pretty sure she doesn't like Cassidy that much. Right now me and Cassidy are hanging out at my place when the front door suddenly opened to reveal my parents.
"Mum, Dad you're back" I said.
"Yes" Mum said. Mum hugged me.
"I've missed you Katsu. Hope you didn't cause too much mischief when we were gone" Mum said.
"Don't worry I didn't. Just made a friend that's all" I said.
"You mean that girl over there?" Dad said. I nodded. I motioned for Cassidy to come up and she did and slowly walked towards me. Cassidy was still shy at times.
"Mum, Dad this is Cassidy. My friend in school" I said. Mum smiled.
"Hi there I'm Katsu's mother or Greta and this is Katsu's father or Dylan Mum said.
"N-Nice to meet you" Cassidy said quietly. They shook hands.
"My she looks like a precious one doesn't she Greta?" Dad said.
"Yes, a lot more appropriate then Muru indeed" Mum said.
"Alright now is not the time guys" I said. Mum nodded and looked at Cassidy again.
"So how old are you?" Mum asked.
"I-I'm 16 years old" Cassidy said.
"Same age as Muru" Dad said. Cassidy swallowed harshly.
"Don't mind him darling, he may look scary but he's a kind man" Mum said. Cassidy nodded. We ended up going to the dining room and having coffee as we all talked about random stuff.
"So yeah. This necklace was given from my parents when I was born. It has an actual Ruby in it as it is my birthstone" Cassidy said. She seems to be more comfortable now. I smiled in my mind.
"It suits you Cassidy" Mum said.
"Thanks" Cassidy said. Cassidy took out her iPad.
"Oh guys by the way Cass is the ultimate cartoonist" I said.
"Oooo sounds unique" Mum said. Cassidy showed them one of her drawing.
"It took me three days to do" Cassidy said. Mum and Dad stared at it in awe.
"Wow, so artistic!" Mum said.
"She can also sing and cook" I added.
"She can sing like you?" Dad asked. I nodded.
"Interesting" Dad said. I checked the time.
"Alright I'm going to take Cassidy home now" I said standing up. Cassidy stood up as well.
"Well it was nice meeting you Cassidy. You can come here anytime you like!" Mum said with a wide smile.
"Thank you, and it was nice meeting you too" Cassidy said. We then walked out and into the direction of Cassidy's house.
"Let me ask you something Katsu. Why does your parents not like Muru?" Cassidy asked.
"They didn't like her the first time they met her. Apparently to them she was snobby and inappropriate for me because of what she wore" I said.
"Oh I see" Cassidy said.
"I care about her though, just like how I care about you" I said. What I said made Cassidy blush.
"G-Good to know" Cassidy stuttered. We soon got to her place.
"Thanks for inviting me over. It was a pleasure meeting your parents and hanging out with you" Cassidy said.
"No problem. I'll see you tomorrow" I said.
"Yeah see you tomorrow" Cassidy said. She then entered her house and closed the door as I walked back home. When I got back home my parents wanted to talk to me.
"What is it?" I asked.
"Cassidy is a nice girl. I want you to take care of her Katsu. She's like my second daughter I never had" Mum said.
"I will" I said.
"I think she's more appropriate for you Katsu" Dad said.
"What do you mean?" I said confused.
"You know what I mean Katsu. Think about it" Dad said. I thought about it for a moment and then I blushed madly.
"Whoa whoa whoa! Me and Cassidy are just friends! It's not going to go that far!" I said.
"You don't know that" Dad said. I sighed.
"She's like a sister to me Dad. I don't want to think the wrong thing" I said.
"Fine. But you know that you two will be even closer right?" Dad said. I sighed again and nodded.
"Is that all?" I asked.
"Yes. You may go now Katsu" Dad said. I turned and started walking away.
"Make sure you go to bed for school tomorrow!" Mum said.
"Yeah yeah I know" I said. I went up to my room and went to my computer to edit a few songs that I've been doing. This took me the rest of the day.
*Cassidy's Pov*
I was sitting on my bed after I met Katsu's parents. They seem so nice. Greta was a lovely woman, and Dylan was a kind but serious man. They both seem to be very important business people. Katsu definitely got his genes from his parents, hair and face from the mother but seriousness from his father as well as his height.
"You know they are not going to last you know. They will end up rotting in hell with the rest of them" Opal said.
"Shut up Opal" I said annoyed.
"Hey! Relax. Just looking out for you Cass so that you don't get hurt by anymore people" Opal said.
"Since when have you cared?" I asked.
"I don't" Opal giggled and I rolled my eyes.
"I'm going to sleep. So don't bother me" I said grabbing my sleeping pills.
"Make sure you don't overdose" Opal said.
"I'll shove them up your ass in a minute. Fucking annoying bitch" I said to myself as Opal disappeared. I changed into my pyjamas and took off my glasses as I placed them on the dressing table next to me. I got a cup of water and took the pills. Within 5 minutes I was asleep.
