*Cassidy's Pov*
Katsu took me home and I just sat in my room, broken. Why? Why would my parents do that? They were going to sacrifice me to save themselves? I started crying a little and I buried my face into my hands. They never loved me, they never wanted me... What's the point of me being here?
"Why are you crying Cassidy?" Bailey asked.
"Why do you want to know?" I asked.
"I'm just wondering just in case Opal needs to kill a motherfucker" Bailey said. I thought for a second. Well there was my parents betraying and then...
"It's nothing. Just bitches bullying me again at school but I punched her in the jaw" I said. Bailey was surprised at this.
"Huh. Seems interesting. So you hit the girl on your own?" Bailey asked. I nodded.
"Okay then. I'll just leave you alone then" Bailey said disappearing. That's weird. She's acting nice towards me. Probably part of their plan to kill me. I ended up falling asleep for the rest of the day. The next day I met Katsu at school with Muru and we were chatting a bit. I suddenly got a headache and I leaned against the wall.
"You alright Cass?" Katsu asked.
"Yeah I'm fine. Just a headache" I said. The bell rung and Muru split from us to go to her class. We went to ours and the teacher noticed that Vanessa wasn't here.
"Oh. That's strange. Vanessa isn't here today" the teacher said.
"Yeah. I heard she got punched in the face" Kasey said.
"So? The plastic surgery will help her become less ugly" Boggy said. Katsu snickered quietly at his remark.
"That's surprising. You don't like Vanessa?" I asked. Boggy turned to me.
"No. I've never have liked her. Honestly she was probably asking for a punch in the face. The stupid slut, I would applaud the person who punched her" Boggy said. I nodded. Damn she got some haters in here.
"Well not even her friend is here. I say let's enjoy the peace while it lasts" Kasey said.
"Amen to that~" Jacque said exaggerating his words.
*Time Skip*
Me and Katsu were walking in the hallway until we met up with Muru.
"How was class babe?" Katsu said.
"Shit. Everything went to hell in that class" Muru said.
"Went to hell?" I repeated, confused on what she meant.
"Yeah, and trust me, you do not want to be in that class" Muru said. I suddenly got a splitting headache again. No! Opal!
*Katsu's Pov*
I saw Cassidy holding her head and groaning in pain.
"Cass you alright?" I asked. Cassidy's reply was a Yelp of pain. Muru looked at her.
"What's wrong with her? We should probably take her to the nurses office" Muru said. Cassidy soon turned around and we saw Opal being controlled.
"Oh shit!" I said.
*Readers Pov*
Muru looked at her horrified. One eye is red, fangs growing. She was that shocked that she was frozen in place.
"Run! I can't hold off much longer!" Cassidy said. Katsu grabbed Muru and they both ran. Once they were out of sight Opal took full control and got a kitchen knife from the cafeteria. Meanwhile Muru and Katsu are currently hiding at the moment.
"Alright Katsu. What was going on with Cassidy? She didn't seem human" Muru asked worried. I can't tell her yet...
"I don't know" Katsu lied.
"Are you sure?" Muru asked. I nodded. Muru sighed.
"We should be quiet though. She has hearing like a hawk" Katsu said. Muru nodded silently and got close to Katsu for protection. Katsu blushed as he saw Muru shivering against him. Please don't do anything serious Cassidy... Katsu thought.
*Meanwhile*
*Opal's/ Cassidy's Pov*
"No! Please don't-" The woman was cut off when I stabbed my knife into her neck. I then drank her blood in satisfaction.
"Oh I so needed that~" I said.
"Stop it Opal!" Cassidy said in my head.
"Shut the hell up bitch!" I shouted. I have so far killed three people on the streets. I smirked evilly. Katsu was lucky that I went straight out of the school to go feast. He'd be dead by now if I didn't.
"Give me control of my body now!" Cassidy said trying to gain back control. I groaned a little and made the bodies disappear. I then ran back to Cassidy's place and started smashing my/ Cassidy's head against the wall.
"Taste the wall bitch!" I shouted. I shook violently and fell to the ground as I lost control of Cassidy. Son of a bitch! Cassidy you fucking bitch!
*Readers Pov*
Cassidy gained back control of her body but had a splitting headache due to Opal smashing her head against the wall. She was bleeding from her forehead and she tried to get into the kitchen but had fainted from the blood loss.
*Meanwhile*
"I'm going to go see if Cassisy is okay" Katsu said.
"No! It's not safe!" Muru said.
"I have to Muru. I gotta check to see if she's alright" Katsu said. Muru growled and folded her arms.
"What's going on Katsu? Is there something you're not telling me?" Muru said. Katsu sighed.
"Trust me. If I could tell you I would. But I'd don't think you'd understand the situation" Katsu said. Katsu then ran in the opposite direction as he blocked out the sounds of his girlfriend calling out to him in the distance.
He ran all the way to Cassidy's house to find her on the ground with blood seeping out of her head. He checked her pulse which was still there. He sighed in relief. Katsu went into her kitchen and grabbed out bandages and also got a wet rag. He cleaned up the blood on her face and covered up her wound.
He then took off her bloody hoodie and put it in the wash along with her bloodied gloves. He saw the bandages on her arms as he had a flashback to when he experienced her self harm. He looked down at her. I will save you Cassidy. Even if it means my life...
