"MA'AM Veneracion, I just wanted to give you a heads up that the interview will kick off in about 30 minutes, or whenever Miss Delos Reyes gets here po," the staff informed me.

"Wait a minute," I called out, causing her to pause as she was about to leave. "What do you mean it's Delos Reyes? I thought we were expecting Krisdayne?"

"Miss Rich DR will be hosting the entire broadcast episode po, Ma'am. Madame Krisdayne Keller is on maternity leave po kasi," she explained politely.

Really Rhio? You seriously have to watch tv again. I mentally scolded myself.

"Ah, got it. I guess I've been too busy to keep up with the news," I realized with a chuckle.

Krisdayne is such a big name in the industry, it's hard to imagine anyone else hosting this show. Right, I'm going to be on the well-known morning talk show, Breathing Gold, today as a guest. The show airs every Saturday morning on the biggest media and entertainment network in the Philippines, and Krisdayne is usually the main host. She's currently on leave, so Richelle Delos Reyes will be taking over her hosting duties for now.

We've already completed the first part of the interview at Breathing Gold's studio. Now, for the second part, we'll be heading to Lava Coffee Shop located near Cambridge St. Lastly, we'll wrap up the interview at the Cambridge office of the president.

"I'm sure you'll nail this part of the interview again, ma'am. Nag-uumapaw ang visuals kahit sa camera! Your beauty shines from every angle!" Jonifer, my make-up artist and fashion stylist, complimented me.

I sailed through the initial interview with ease as Richelle, the host, was both intelligent and quick-witted. She was a force to be reckoned with, and I must say, she did an excellent job hosting the show.

After a monent, one of their crew members at the back counter shouted, "Pakisabi the whole coffee shop is rented! It's entirely closed and we're having an exclusive taping!"

Suddenly, a cacophony of noise pulled our gaze to the glass door. A surge of customers inundated the entrance, oblivious to the proceedings inside. My pupils dilated in recognition of a familiar face among the crowd.

Her beauty was utterly stunning, making it implausible for her to blend in with the crowd. A pair of rose-tinted shades complemented her ensemble flawlessly, comprising high-waisted beige trousers and a black top that exposed a square neckline, accentuating he chest. With a phone in one hand and a white coat in the other, she exuded an air of understated elegance fused with conspicuous luxury.

"Let her in! I know her! She's my best friend!" Richelle exclaimed excitedly and rushed towards the door to let her in.

They kissed each other's cheeks as gestures of greeting. I looked away and hand-combed my hair flipping it backwards.

What happened to the theatre's female dressing room two days ago wrapped up my head. We never talked to each other after that, well, was there something to be spoken about after all?

Our conversation was bittersweet, drenched in nostalgia and a yearning for what could have been. And then, we surrendered to a kiss.
