Chapter 5

Bells's POV

Leo was the first to react. "Holy schist!" Leo said, "You even got the Calypso thing right. That's hard to explain even to people who already know us."

Everyone had his or her mouths open. "I'm guessing, you're my sister." Annabeth said. "Told you she was good." Travis said. I blushed. Katie had her fist clenched and was looking from Travis, to me and back to Travis. Then, she looked away. Travis glanced at her, longingly. Something was going on with those two. I decided to ask him later.

I looked over at Connor. MAN, he was hot. It was more than just his looks, which were pretty good too, I liked that he was not the bouncy over energetic type like Travis. Those traits were great for a friend, but I liked Connor in another way. He was funny and sarcastic, but quiet too. I wondered what I looked like. I didn't even bother to really comb my hair this morning. I had just put it in a messy braid and gone out.

We decided to all meet up at the entrance hall, Thalia had something she wanted to tell us. Hazel, Connor and me were the first to get there. Connor leaned in and said to me "That was great, what you did at lunch. You're really smart." I probably looked like a tomato. Just then, Travis, Nico and Frank arrived. Frank walked over to Hazel and took her hand. Nico just stood there and Travis walked over to me. "What do you think Thalia wants to tell us?" he asked. Then, the rest of the gang walked towards us. Thalia came in last with Katie next to her.

"Okay suckers. I have talked to all your parents and Katie's dad agreed to let us have a get together in their mansion." Katie blushed. "This is so we can get to know Bells better. And you are ALL COMING" she said. "See you then."

Katie, Thalia, Piper and Hazel left in Thalia's truck. Annabeth left with Percy and Connor in the back seat, who gave his keys to Travis, since he had to go to Percy's to start a project they had for science and Annabeth was going too. Reyna, Jason, Dakota and Frank left in Jason's BMW; Leo and Calypso left in Leo's self-built Ferrari (parts and such courtesy of Hephaestus himself) and Nico just shadow traveled.

"Can I come over and we can do some homework and you can teach me a little of the history of your gang, because apart from whose the son of who and who is Roman or Greek; I'm pretty much lost."

"Great! I really needed a friend this afternoon, since Connor will be at Percy's." He said as he walked over to his truck. I hopped on to shotgun and turned to him while he was turning on the car. "You like Katie, don't you?" He looked over at me as he was pulling out of the parking spot. " And you like my brother, don't you?" He said with a smirk on his face.

"Hell yeah I do! Okay, look. Lets make a deal. You talk to Connor and figure out what he thinks of me and Ill talk to Katie, you know, tell her good stuff about you." "Great" he said "we can be each other's wing man."

On the rest of the ride to Travis's apartment we were singing along to "pumped of kicks" by Foster the People. When we got to his apartment we began to do some homework and Travis was telling me about the history of Percabeth and how they are practically married, they have gone through so much together. You know, normal things like LITERALLY GOING THROUGH HELL TOGETHER or just know, GIVING UP IMMORTALITY FOR EACH OTHER!

"What's up with Piper, Jason and Reyna. I could tell something was off with those three." I asked.

"Ahh, that. Long story short, when Jason was taken to the Greek camp (he explained all about how The Most Annoying Royalty Hera had switched up Jason and Percy) he had lost his memory. He didn't remember that he already had a girlfriend back at camp Jupiter, Reyna. He started dating Piper, who totally fell for him; but after the war was over he got his memories back and broke up with Piper. He and Reyna are meant to be, but now Piper is heartbroken." He explained.

"Jeesh." I said.

After about three hours it was already 5:00 pm and Travis and I stopped by my apartment to pick up my clothes for the party and left for Katie's house.

"What do you see in my brother, anyway?" Travis asked in the car. "Well, he's hot." I stated. Travis looked at me with a raised eyebrow and we both burst out laughing. "Okay, wait. I hay an idea. Hypothetically speaking, I start going out with Connor and you start going out with Katie. Lets make a pact that no matter what happens, we'll stay best friends." I say. He looks at me seriously and half-screams "DEAL!" We start laughing again, and by that time we were already puling up in Katie's house.

"Ding, Dong." We ring the bell and Katie opens the door. She glances at Travis and then glares at me. "Come in." She says; rather coldly, but also kind of exasperated. The scene we can perceive is definitely a... different, scene. Percy is carrying Annabeth and she is screaming "KILL IT CONNOR, KILL THE FREAKING SPIDER!"
