The 110th Hunger Games

Training

I am woken up by blinding lights from the sun and the soft flutter from my curtains. I yawn and finally manage to get out of the best bed I've ever slept in.

I put my robe on and head to the bathroom to take a nice hot shower. The water feels so nice on my skin, ridding all the fatigue that has claimed my body. I then put my bath robe on and head downstairs for breakfast, where I see saasha, Leo , Alyx, Annie and Joshua having a good old chat while munching down on some toast, bacon and washing it down with juice.

"Oh Sagittaria your finally awake, I thought you'd never be up for training" says Saasha

I grin and ask "what's on the menu today?"

"Just toast and bacon, sorry we had a egg eating competition" says Alyx

I roll my eyes and help myself to two slices of toast and 5 strips of bacon.

After breakfast we get changed and head down to the training room.

All the tributes are there except for the boy from 13 I know this because I remember seeing him at the chariots ride and his district partner is all alone in the plants identifying area. Alyx and I go to our chosen areas. I join Jane at the sword wielding station where she just cut down 3 dummies in a impressive amount of time.

I then look over to see Alyx at the trap making area. Glint is shooting arrows at moving dummies, she's doing good but shrieks when she misses one by inches.

I then see Adam at the bow and arrows and he's with this other girl, the girl from District Five I think, I'd hate to admit it but she is better than him because she seems to reload faster. Plus his arrow doesn't take flight.

The last person is Breck who just tackled a dummy and ripped its arms off. Almost no one has made a good competition except for the girl from 5 who knows how to use a bow, the girl from 7 who uses a chakram and the girl from 11 who is practicing with a blowgun.

I head over to the bow and arrow station with Glint.

"Hey can I borrow some arrows?" I ask her

"What? Oh yea sure go ahead I didn't realize I took all of them" she says sweat dripping down her face. "I'm done here anyway" she goes and sits down and re braids her long blonde hair. I try to shooting an arrow but I miss.
Embarrassed I leave Glint to it. "Hey I'll catch you later" I say. She smiles and gives a little wave as I head back to my room.
