Keep Your Friends Close, But Keep Your Enemies Closer

After a good night sleep we decided to check over our supplies and decided to go hunting for more tributes. After walking for about what seems like forever we come across a lake which is at the edge of the forest, across the lake was an enormous mountain which seemed quite deadly and steep not to mention all of the traps that the gamemakers have set. When we see the water Jane and Breck have already dived face first into the lake and splashing us with the water.
"Hey your going to ruin my hair!" Glint shouts at Breck.
"It's the damn hunger games not the miss panem pageant show" Breck retaliates. Glint rolls her eyes and walks off to Adam who's munching on a pack of trail mix.

"You reckon its "that time of the month" for Glint" Asks Alyx
"If so she better have good sponsors"Laughs Breck.

"Oi you guys don't understand the struggles of being on your period, especially if your in the hunger games" barks Jane. "If you guys had periods you'd know how we feel".

"Oh come on it's not that bad" says Adam as he comes over holding what looks like a wooden spear.

"Oi where did you get that?" Asks Alyx

"Oh this?" Adam asks twirling his spear. "I decided to make use out of this stick I found back there".

"Oh wow didn't know you district one folks knew how to be resourceful" Alyx says. " I thought you'd just laze around your mansions all day".
Glint and Adam death stare my district partner. "What's your problem district four?" Asks Glint "you just attacked Adam out of the blue for no reason".

Jane and Breck seem to be eavesdropping because they rush over really quickly.
"Everything cool here?" Asks Breck
"Just boys being boys" says Glint as if she's hoping they'll kill one another.

"Shut your mouth blondie" Alyx fires at her. "All you do is complain, complain and complain".

Glint looks at him furious and Janes mouth is wide open. " How dare you speak to anyone like that?!" Exclaims Jane. "You know giving yourself a name is a bad thing in the arena, makes people want you dead more"

Alyx death stares her knowing she's right.
After everyone not talking for about an hour Breck notices a thin wave of smoke into the air. "Look there" he says pointing one of his two swords in the direction of the smoke. Jane is the first one to get up all excited. "Shall we go shed some blood?" She asks almost to happy.
"Hold on Jane we can't just go barging there not knowing what it could be?" says Adam "It might be a trap to lure us there and we'll all get an arrow to our heart or something".

"I say we sneak there and if it's a unsuspecting tribute we end their life as punishment for being the stupidest person ever" I say "and if no ones there and it looks suspicious we leave and wait till morning to check it out again, sound good?" I offer.

"Saggitarias right" says Breck
"Then let's go find out" says Jane

We sneak off into the forest towards the smoke to find the boy - I think from district nine - tending to a small fire.

I'm about to pounce him when someone grabs my arm. "Don't do it" says Breck in a hushed voice. "we want to see if he's with anyone".

"His district partner is dead" I say "I killed her at the bloodbath".

"Good for you" he says "but he might've made an alliance with someone"
"True" I say.

When Breck try's to sneak up behind him, the snapping of twigs makes him retreat back into the darkness.
And through the forest the district 6 boy comes out to the fire, blowgun in hand. "Get anything?" Asks the boy from 9.

"Nothing" says the boy from 6.
After listening to them talk Breck tackles the boy from 9 from behind. He kicks and struggles to get away, a losing battle that finishes with his cannon. The boy drops dead as Breck re-tracts his sword from the boys heart.

The boy from 6 turns to make an escape but stops when Alyx forces his trident through his thigh. The boy reacts quickly and tosses a dart at Alyx which misses him by inches but scares him enough for him to take out his trident.

The boy makes a quick getaway running as fast as he can into the forest.
"Well go get him" Glint screams at Alyx
But he just stands there smirking. "What the heck are you doing he's getting away!" Adam yells.

"Don't worry about him he'll bleed out soon enough" Alyx says calmly taking a seat infront of the fire. "It's not like he's going to get any sponsors, besides atleast he knows not to mess with us"

"I swear to God if he doesn't die in the next day or too, I'll  stab you with my sword in the stomach and twist it" screams Jane her face flushed with anger.
"Good for you honey" Alyx says calmly. " You should get some sleep"

"When it comes down to the six of us your the first one I get so you better watch it boy" she threatens.

Once the night falls and the district 9 boy being showed in the sky. I walk away from everyone to Alyx who's sitting by the lake. I don't even bother to sugar coat what I'm about to tell him.
"You do realize with your attitude your gonna get us both killed" I almost scream. "I know you don't like our group but we need to work together to survive, and if they kill you then who do you think is going to die first when it comes down to the remaining 5 of us of us?". I click my fingers to get his attention but he keeps staring at the mountain across from us. "Ugh your not even listening, are you?". I decide to head back over to the others that's when I hear him mutter something under his breath. I'm enraged now how dare he say something behind my back instead infront of my face.

"What was that?" I say

He turns to meet my gaze and says something that sends chills down my spine.

"I said I'm your brother".
