emerson was already packed and ready for her second year at hogwarts

her and her parents had only got back from ireland two days before.

emerson hadn't talked to what everyone was now calling 'the golden trio' in months, except to usual 'hi' or asking harry what he's starring at

since it seems he gets caught starring quite often

"Emerson come on we have to leave for the train" Celeste yelled from the bottom of the stairs

emerson smiled and grabbed her things, put her kitten in her overly large pocket, and picked up her owls cage

this was the year she could try out for quidditch and she sure as hell was

she also missed her bestfriends

and her old bestfriends

but

no one would know that

she walked down the stairs into the hall

and her father took her trunk whilst her little house elf carried her owl

they flooed to the train station

lucious, narcissa, and draco walked over to the three

draco starred in awe at the girl who used to be his bestfriend, his other half, the one he told everything to

little did he know

she was doing to exact same thing

starring in awe at the boy who used to be her everything; bestfriend, other half, and the one she told everything to

they had both definitely changed appearance wise

draco started saying something

but he was was quickly cut off by two girls running over and hugging emerson

"bloody hell" she said before laughing

"ahhh we missed you so so much" daphne said hugging her tightly

"oh i think we might've broken up a little moment" olivia said gesturing to a disappointed looking draco standing opposite of them

"well too bad, we haven't seen our bestfriend in like 10,000 years" daphne said throwing her hands in the air

emerson laughed a little

"ugh, i missed you guys so much" emerson said

she turned around and hugged her parents before setting her kitten on her shoulder

she picked up the owl cage and her trunk then walked up to the train

some worker guy on the train took the trunk and cage once she got on

emerson , olivia , and daphne all walked down the train to find an empty compartment

when they didn't, emerson walked to one of the nicer compartments that already had people accompanying it

they stood sternly for a second and then the people sitting there got up and ran away from them

the girls took their seats

draco , blaise , crabbe , and goyle somehow 'coincidentally' sat on the opposite side from them

they made eye contact but emerson broke it within seconds

"so either of you trying out for quidditch?" emerson asked her friends

"no, but i will definitely be cheering for you from the stands" daphne said with a smile and emerson let out a small laugh

"oh definitely not, i would be awful" olivia said

emerson let out a slight sigh

"you'll definitely make the team though" daphne said with a smile

"thanks" emerson said with a smile

they got to hogwarts and got in the carriages whilst the first years got into the little boats

"oh god were we ever that little?" olivia said with a laugh

emerson looked over at the kids

"dear merlin, i hope not" she said with a laugh

they got to hogwarts and went and sat at the slytherin table

no one would sit directly next to them out of fear

it might not have seemed like it but the girls could be quite intimidating and no one wanted to be on their bad side

draco , blaise , and the goons came and sat next to them though

olivia sat on the left, then emerson in the middle

daphne sat across from olivia

draco sat on the right of emerson

blaise sat across from emerson

    crabbe sat next to draco and goyle sat across from       
crabbe

"So em, why don't you talk to us anymore?" blaise asked

emerson tried to ignore the question

"em, please talk to us" blaise said

emerson got up from the table and stomped away

"goddamnit" blaise said and he , draco, daphne , and olivia ran after her

tears were welling up in her eyes

"Em" blaise said as he had finally caught up to her

"What exactly do you want me to say? The fact that being with you guys reminds me of Elijah. And the fact that it hurts too much to have all of the memories just rush into my mind every time i look at you or malfoy"  emerson yelled

blaise went up and hugged her

"i'm sorry" he said

draco looked taken aback from what she had said

  "we should get back" blaise said

they all walked back  to the great hall and people looked at them weirdly and whispers went around

emerson put on a cold look upon her face so no one would see the hurt in her eyes

they walked back and sat at the table in their normal spots but this time pansy ran over and sat down next to draco instead of crabbe

"ugh you are seriously friends with her again" pansy said in a complaining tone

once the dinner was over they went to their dorms and unpacked their things

then just went to sleep
