They went to lunch and talked about the usual things that teens would talk about.

but malfoy just couldn't take his eyes off the newly raven haired girl.

his crush on her started out as just a simple crush but now he felt it was so much more, he was infatuated with her. but he tried his best not to let people realize that he in fact was in love with her.

after lunch they began walking back to their dorms when they saw the 'golden trio'

emerson, olivia, nott, and blaise pushed to the front and daphne and malfoy slowly walked up.

olivia looked confusingly at the blonde haired girl as she usually would be right behind emerson. did she like malfoy? no, that's rubbish why would she like him.

filch , dumbledore, and snape walked over to the scene

filch looked up and saw his cat

"mrs. norris, YOU KILLED MY CAT. ILL KILL YOU POTTER" filch said and grabbed harry up by the collar

dumbledore ushered for him to put the boy down

"mrs. norris is only petrified" dumbledore said

"YOU PETRIFIED MY CAT, HE PETRIFIED MY CAT" filch yelled

snape tried to reason with him before saying he didn't see harry at lunch

so the creepy DADA teacher said that he had harry helping him sign autographs and hermione said that her and ron went looking for him

dumbledore nodded then looked up at the wall

"enemies of the heir beware" draco read out from behind emerson which made the hairs on her neck prickle up. she didn't know why it did. but she convinced herself it was from the cold

"that's right, you'll be next mudbloods" draco said

whatever moment that emerson was in quickly ended as she turned around and slapped him across the face without thinking

"Ms. Holland" snape said shocked

emerson realized what she did and turned around to see a shocked looking malfoy along with the rest of the slytherins looking shocked aswell

she again did something without thinking and kissed him for a split second

then gasped at what she just did and quickly turned back around to see a smirking snape

draco was angry and sad that she had slapped him but glad she did at the same time. oh god what had she done to him.

a small smile crept onto draco's face

whilst only a few feet away harry's face had a look of disappointment and sadness

"We have freshly potted mandrakes and will be able to unpetrify mrs norris soon" dumbledore stated

filch then stomped off

emerson ran off to her dorm with olivia right behind her, leaving an angry looking daphne and pansy almost mirroring daphne's facial expression

she fell back onto her bed
