first day back at hogwarts

emerson and draco didn't talk almost all summer

emerson walked with her bags onto the scarlet and black train that would take her and her peers to hogwarts

she walked a little ways back when a certain platinum blonde boy stood up from a compartment and smashed his lips into hers quickly moving in sync

they pulled apart and smiled whilst looking into the others' eyes

"i've waited all summer for that" draco said with his usual smirk plastered onto his face

he had cleaned up quite a bit over the summer, he didn't have as much gel so his has fell in his face in a cute way that emerson truly loved. he didn't look as formal but in a good way, he definitely was just getting better and better.

emerson sat down with draco next to her

blaise entered the compartment shortly after as the couple was talking

"hello gits" he said sitting across from them

pansy parkinson began walking in and started to sit down next to blaise when olivia walked into the compartment and pushed her out of the way

"how dare you!" pansy barked at her

olivia decided to just sat down next to blaise and ignore  her

he simply kissed her softly on the lips for a few seconds before facing back to the group

"i've missed you idiots over summer holiday" emerson said , draco had his arm draped over her shoulders with blaise and olivia practically mirroring them

"i missed you too, we should've hung out while they were off on vacation" olivia said

"ugh, that bloody vacation i thought would be the death of me" emerson said rolling her eyes

"why?" draco asked

"you stopped sending letters back, and i thought you had died" she said throwing her hands in the air

"we just got caught up with some things, right blaise?" draco said and looked over at blaise desperately hoping he would agree

blaise nodded

"yes, it had us quite busy" he said

emerson wasn't stupid, she could tell something was up

"oh well what was it then?" olivia asked

"we had to...-" draco started

"we had to study all summer" blaise finished for him, it was obviously a lie but it was probably better left unsaid for the moment, but definitely would need to come up in a later conversation

"is it true you passed out on the train potter?" draco said turning around to taunt harry
