"emerson, come here" someone said from behind her as she walked to practice

she quickly turned around for her piercing ocean blue eyes to be met with the boy's similarly colored ones

"harry? what is it" she asked

"i found this diary and, i think i know where the chamber of secrets is" harry said excitedly to the raven haired girl

her eyes went wide

"well who's is it?" she asked anxiously

"the diary says tom riddle" he responded

fear crept into emerson's eyes as harry said her father's name. didn't he know? maybe he was just being oblivious

"emerson, are you alright?" harry asked snapping emerson out of her thoughts

"oh yes, sorry well that's great i have to get to practice now goodbye" emerson said slowly backing away before running in the direction of snape's classroom

"that's not the way to the field" harry yelled after her

she just ignored him and kept running until she made it to professor snape's class and stormed through the doors which caused all eyes to shoot up to her

"what is the meaning of this miss holland" professor snape asked

emerson had briefly forgot asking to be called
holland once more to avoid any sort of association with the attacks that had been going on.

"scarhead. diary. chamber. my father." she said quickly attempting to catch her breath

"continue on with what you were working on"
snape said before walking back to emerson and then walking out of the classroom in which she followed him to his office

they went into his office and sat down at the desk

"now further explain" he directed

"harry found my father's diary somehow and he knows where the chamber of secrets is or at least he thinks. but if it is my father's diary harry would be in great danger" emerson said

his eyes went wide

"and what do you suppose i should do about that?" snape asked returning to his monotone expression

she looked down disappointedly

"nothing, i better be getting to practice" she said getting out of her chair and walking out of the office

snape began to say something but just let her leave

she walked to the field ground and the boys were waiting for her to begin

"look who fi-" draco started but cut himself off once he noticed her upset demeanor and walked up to her

"hey, em, are you okay?" draco said resting her chin on his hand so she would look up at him
