"one day through this week you'll have to ask someone out, someone you truly like. if it was now that would be boring so at one  unexpected moment you have to ask the person you like out" blaise said with a smirk

"very specific" theo said

draco's mind grew with worry, what if she asked someone else, who would
she ask , does she even truly like him?

all these thoughts rushed through his mind

"i think that's enough truth or dare
for one day, we
better go before we miss dinner" emerson said

"quite quiet, aren't you malfoy?" theo said calling out draco's silence

draco was then snapped out of his thoughts and looked
up at theo

theo just chuckled

the group got up and walked to dinner with a slightly awkward silence

blaise and olivia's hands were intertwined which gained some looks from their fellow students

they went and sat down in their usual spots at the table

pansy came over and pushed theo out of his seat next to draco

"hi drakey-poo" she said , her voice to emerson was
like nails on a chalk board

draco rolled his eyes and rested his chin on his hand

pansy stomped off huffing all the way back to her seat

the dinner started and food appeared but draco was still sitting in the same position and really hadn't moved

"are you okay?" emerson asked him quietly in a soft tone

he simply just nodded

"you've gotta eat draco" she said in a sympathetic voice

he picked up an apple from the table and took a bite before placing it back where he had picked it up

"happy now?" he said with a fake smile

emerson frowned grabbing draco's wrist and walking with him out of the great hall

whispers went around the hall but they didn't bother her

she pulled him back behind the great hall door so no one would see them

"what's going on?" she asked

draco said nothing

"draco, please tell me what's wrong" she said

"do you love me?" he asked

"what do you mean, of course i do" she said

"no, not just in a bestfriend way" he said looking into her eyes
