Haylie pov

"So your alive then?" I closed my locker and saw Derek stood there with his hands in his pockets.

"Derek what are you doing here?" I asked with a sigh since I knew his answer.

"I haven't seen you or even heard from you in three days?" I nodded.

"Yeah I've been avoiding you." He seemed surprised by my honesty but then he realised why.

"I'm sorry." He said plainly and lent against the lockers with his side. "I lost control." I nodded again.

"Yeah no kidding." I said clutching my books to my chest.

"I never wanted you to see me like that. It's the side of me I always try to keep away from you. And if I wasn't so angry and out of control I never would have done what I did with you there." I chuckled a little.

"So you would still do it if I'm not there?" I asked as a joke but Derek's face stayed like stone.

"Haylie, if you weren't there the other night I would have killed him." My small smile dropped and I looked anywhere but him. "Because I wasn't in control." Derek added and lifted my chin to force me to look at him.

"I've just never seen you like that and i didn't know what to say to you. But now that your here I'm actually feeling a lot better about it." I admitted and he smiled. Something behind him caught my eye and I saw Blake holding his hand up and holding up four fingers. He also mouthed the word four referring to Derek being the fourth guy he had seen me with. I couldn't help but smile a little causing Derek to turn around.

"Who's that?" He asked looking back to me and I shook my head.

"That's Blake, he's new." I said and Derek sighed.

"Okay, well am I forgiven?" He asked and I couldn't help but smile at him with his puppy dog eyes.

"Of course you are." I said and he smirked before leaning forward and kissing me. At first he was holding my waist but then both hands moved up to cup my cheeks.

"Good because I love you." He said against my lips.

"I love you too." I said and he gave me one more peck before saying he had to leave and he made his way out the school. I looked back to where Blake was and he was still looking at me but this time he looked a bit disappointed. He gave me a weak smile before walking towards class.

"What was Derek doing here?" Asked Isaac as he appeared next to me.

"He came to apologise about the other night." I said as we started walking to gym. Isaac nodded because I told him everything that happen yesterday. I would have talked to Lydia but she wasn't talking to me. But she was in my gym class so I would try talking to her then.

"Look, Derek isn't angry at you, you get that right?" I nodded.

"Yeah of course he isn't, he's mad at tom." Isaac laughed a little.

"Yeah just like everyone else. Except Derek actually has a reason." I nodded agreeing with him and we reached the girls locker room. "Well I'll see you on the field. Prepare to get your assed kicked." He said with his grin.

"No wolf powers Lahey!" I said knowing nobody was around to hear it. He winked before leaving to the boys changing rooms. Once I walked in I saw Lydia sat down tying one of her trainers I placed my bag on the bench next to her. She looked up but then ignored me. "You know I don't even get why your mad at me." I said pulling my gym clothes out of my bag. I looked to see her start tying her other shoe. "I'm not the one that did anything?" I said and without a glance at me she stood up and walked away. "It's like I'm invisible all over again." I said to myself and continued to change.
