My phone rang for the fourth time in those ten minutes that I had been sat in the storage room crying. Except this time it was Derek not stiles or Lydia. Over these ten minutes I've been crying my eyes out and had my knees attached to my chest I had made my descion about what I was going to do next. I took a deep breath in and answered the call. "Hello." I said keeping my voice normal, when all is wanted to was scream.
"Hey where are you? You just disappeared." Derek said down the phone. Hearing his voice made me want to scream even more. The voice that had lied to me so many times.
"I'm just in the Restroom I wasn't feeling too well." I said slowly standing up and using the wall I was leaning on for support.
"Really what's wrong?" Everything. Everything is wrong. Your wrong. I'm wrong. Our relationship is wrong. That's what I wanted to say but I didn't.
"Nothing I'm fine now." Lie. I'm not fine. Why would I be fine.
"Okay well stiles is going crazy because you wouldn't answer your phone. So would you get your ass out here before I kill your brother please." I nodded even though he couldn't see me.
"Yeah I'll be out in a sec." I said and hung up before falling to the ground again. It's like I couldn't even support my own weight. I was too broken to hold it together for ten minutes. I stood up again and thankfully the storage room was right next to the restroom so my story was believable. I went and checked myself in the mirror and reapplied my make up. Once I had done I looked fine. I looked like I hadn't been crying for ten minutes about my boyfriend sleeping with someone else. Before I could start thinking about it too much I walked out and saw Derek had sat down with Peter and Ethan was with Scarlett instead of Derek. I know my friends wanted me to continue playing pool with them but I couldn't.
"Hey are you alright?" Derek asked as I approached him. I nodded and smiled. I looked up to see Scarlett was watching us. I sat down next to Derek and pulled him by his neck to me. And I kissed him knowing she was watching. Derek was never one to kiss in public. Or do anything in public other than hold my hand discreetly. He was shocked at first but then slowly started kissing me back.
"Can you guys cool it on the PDA?" Derek broke away from me at peters words. I looked and saw Scarlett make her way back to the table. She sat on the other side of Peter.
"What happened to your little game of pool with your friends?" She asked and I moved closer to Derek and to my surprise he actually moved his arm and put it around my shoulders.
"I decided to spend some time with my boyfriend instead." I said and placed my hand on Derek's thigh. Not in a sexual way but just an affectionate way. He sort of smiled at me but he seemed confused.
"It's a shame you can't drink with the rest of us." Scarlett said mocking me. "You know since your too young." I was only just realising how much hate she gives me. Now I know why though.
"Well we aren't staying much longer anyway right?" I said and turned to Derek was had his glass at his mouth he put it down and shrugged.
"Are we not?" He asked and I nodded. "Actually I thought we could stick around?" He said and I looked to Scarlett was was smirking.
"I'm just not feeling well." I said and he looked like he was going to change his mind but I knew how to secure it for definite. "But if you wanna stay I guess I could just walk home?" I said and Derek sat up straight.
"That's a great idea. Fresh air will do you good. Clear that little human head of yours." Scarlett interrupted again and involuntarily held Derek's leg tighter.
"No, your not walking anywhere." Derek said and I smiled inside. "If your not feeling well I'll take you home. Come one." He stood up and I grabbed his hand immediately, I turned back to see her glaring at me. Derek pulled a ten dollar hill out his pocket and handed it to Peter for the drinks and we walked out. "So why aren't you feeling well?" Derek asked as we both sat in the car.
