"We can wait for nightfall and then we can take her to Deaton." Tom suggested as he paced around the old, burnt down living room. "Or maybe Lydia can do a spell?" I nodded and looked at Derek hopeful.

"Do you think we could do that? Do you think they can fix this?" He looked at me sadly.

"I don't think there's a spell to make you human again." I shook my head.

"There must be something! I can't live like this." I admitted. "I'd have to watch everyone I love die. Possibly because of me. I can't do it."

"You can and you will!" We heard a fourth voice yell from outside the house. I walked to the window while the other two walked to the door. "Good morning." The man dressed in a dark blue suit said politely. "I believe you were expecting me." He said looking at tom and Derek.

"We're not buying anything pal." Tom said due to the expensive suit.

"I'm not selling. I just came claim what belongs to me." I noticed the British accent. (AN before anyone says anything it's not klaus)

"Charles I'm assuming." Derek said stepping out onto the porch while I still watched from the window.

"This doesn't have to end badly fellas. I can take my girl and go. I won't harm either of you or anyone else you care about."

"She's the only one I care about." Derek stated holding his ground.

"That's unfortunate Mr Hale. Much like the death of your uncle last night." Charles looked to the ground as he spoke. "You have my sincerest apologies for all your loss'. I am familiar with the feelings." He looked up and met Derek's eyes. "I wouldn't wish it on anyone."

"Then you understand I can't let you have her." Derek gritted out.

"I'm afraid she isn't yours to keep. You fell in love with someone who wasn't available to love. Again I apologise for the heartbreak you will feel but there really isn't room for negotiation." Something about how nice and calm he was being, made me walked to the door and stand next to Derek. Charles smiled when I came out. "Haylie. How are you feeling?"

"Hungry." I admitted and he laughed.

"Yes I'm sure you are. We can fix that if you'd like."

"You mean you'd let her eat you? Oh how thoughtful." Tom said sarcastically.

"If werewolf flesh is what she craves I would be more than happy to provide." He said shocking us all. "But my instincts are telling me she can't stop thinking about humans."

"We're going to fix me." I stated. "Our friend can do a spell or something to make me human again." Charles looked at me sadly.

"I'm sorry Haylie. But there is no spell. There is nothing you can do. I will help you control it. And if you don't want to kill anybody then maybe I can help with that too." I wasn't expecting this from what I had heard about Charles. "I don't recommend it, but I can help."

"I won't hurt anybody either." He shook his head.

"Now that really is non negotiable. You have to cause pain to survive."

"Haylies never hurt anyone her whole life." Tom stated from behind me. "She's not going to start now."

"Oh so I'm assuming one of you broke Simons arm?" Charles said looking at the body lying at our feet. "I am not as heartless as I have been made out to be Haylie." He said stepping closer. "I will give you a long and happy eternity. We will wed and our children shall have children. You can live like a normal human woman, except your diet will be different. And you'll live forever."
