I don't know if you could tell but my chapter titles- you me at six song names- have been linked to what happened in the chapter, or at least their lyrics how I have linked them into my story. Im getting to the point where i'm struggling to do this so in the next chapters they will be song names by other bands and maybe somemore ymas ones. Hope you enjoy this, I like this chapter and more feedback would be excellent :D Megan xx

~Kate~

An hour and a half later we were outside Dans mums house luckily I was wearing a nice black skirt with a floral black and pink top tucked into it compared to my usual shorts or jeans, I had sorted my make up out on the journey there, trying to cover the huge gash across my forehead. "Your mum is going to think you befriended a cage fighter," I laughed pointing to my face. "Haha she won't, you look fine. You should get on well with her, she can be funny when she wants to be." He smiled leading me up the garden path and opened the door, "Muuum?" he shouted. "Daniel your home!" she hugged him and ruffled his hair. "Yep it's me and this is Kate," He grinned in my direction and she gave me a friendly hug too. "Hi Kate it's nice to meet you, wow you're so pretty!" she exclaimed making me blush, "Hi, wow you look so young compared to my mum" I smiled returning her compliment.

Dinner went well, his mum was lovely and her food was delicious too. Just like my mum she had assumed we were boyfriend and girlfriend. We stayed for a couple of hours before saying our goodbyes to her and heading to the car. "Your mums nice," I said as we left fot his flat. "I'm glad you like her, she likes you too," he smiled a smile that did strange thingd to my head, god he was perfect. "So is your place far from here?" I asked slightly nervous about staying in his flat where we would be completely alone."No five minutes and we'll be there." He turned the stereo up, easing my nerves, Dave Grohl's voice boomed out causing us to both start singing along, to the Foo Fighters.

I laughed Dan was completely out of tune. "What you laughing at?" he asked looking at me a cheeky grin on his face, my body turned to jelly, yep i'd fallen hard. "Your singing is fantastic," I said sarcastically. "Oh I know I'm crap, you're pretty good though- you should be in a band!" this made me laugh,"Me in a band? Haha I'm terrible!" No one had ever told me if my singing was good or not. "Kate you're actually amazing! I wouldn't lie to you!" he said sincerely as he parked outside his flat. "Really?" I started to believe him slightly, "Yeah, you're brilliant," his eyes never left mine, the moment was perfect I wanted to kiss him I wished he could be mine he was all I'd ever wanted. He would never want me like this, he's too good for me I thought. I broke my eyes away from his and looked at the building he lived in.

We were driving home from my mums, mum had loved Kate and had told me she wanted us to get together- I wanted this too. I turned up the stereo and the Foo Fighters came blasting out, we started singing along and I noticed Kate had the most beautiful voice, how she wasn't in a band or anything was shocking since she was fabulous- not just her singing either. "What you laughing at?" I asked looking at her, seeing her face made me grin. "Your singing is fantastic," she said sarcastically. "Kate you're actually amazing! I wouldn't lie to you" I would never lie to her, she was worth more than that. This made me think about what had happened earlier in the night.
