I opened my eyes to see I was surrounded by trees, there was sunlight shining through the cracks in the clouds. Why the fuck was I sleeping outside? Was my first thought. I looked around to see Dan snuggled into my side, his arm around my waist... That was when my heart stopped, a spider was crawling up my stomach. I shrieked. Dan jumped waking quickly, "waaaaa? What's wrong," he asked sleepily looking terrified. "There's a freaking spider on meeeeee!" I screamed, Dan jumped up and just laughed. "It's not funny get it off!" Suddenly the spider flew off me through the air and I heard someone burst into laughter behind me. Oliver. He'd been holding a fake spider on a string over me. I shot him a death glare, "That was not funny Oliver I hate spiders!!!" I shouted, they both continued rolling around in creases. "I mean who even walks around with a fake spider anyway, bastard…" I muttered.

Dan came over and wrapped his arms around me, he was still laughing, but having him close was soothing, "come on baby you have to admit it was funny," he was right and if it had been someone else I would have been in stitches. "I suppose but my point still stands, who carries a fake spider around?" I asked standing up and punching Olly. "Not usually the idea came to me when Josh told me that you guys may need someone to pick you up since they took your car," he chuckled, Dan didn't look too happy about the car thing. "Shit I forgot I gave him the keys, he didn't crash it did he?" "No he didn't but he said he needed to get home somehow he says he's sorry, so you two are together eh?" Olly asked taking in how I now had my head pressed against Dan’s chest as his arms were wrapped around me, his head resting on mine. It felt so natural being like this with him. "Yeah we are," I smiled and looked up at Dan. "You make a great couple, honestly Dan has been my best friend for years and you're the best thing that’s ever happened to him," he smiled and punched Dan's arm, "come on then I'll take you home."

We got into Olly’s car and started to make our way home, "hey Olly, how come Joshyasked you to come," I shouted from where I was snuggled up to Dan in the back of the car. "I live right next to the park, that's why Dan always used to come here, so I guess it's less hassle for me to walk over." I really liked Oliver he sounded like he was a good friend to Dan. I could imagine them both hanging out at the park as kids playing hide and seek and maybe when they were older sneaking alcohol here. Oliver dropped us at Josh's parents’house, "Here we are, sorry I can't stay lovebirds I must go and see Lila, my girlfriend, you need to meet her sometime mate." Dan nodded, he'd told me how he'd been annoyed Olly hadn't introduced her at the party. "Bye Olly!" we cheered as we made our way to Josh's house.

Dan knocked at the door and a moment later a small woman with slightly greying brown hair opened the door, I guessed it was Josh's mum. "Daniel! Josh said you were coming! Come inside!" she smiled engulfing him in a hug as soon as he was released he reached to hold my hand again, he was grinning. We made our way inside the house, "And who is this beautiful young lady?" she smiled in my direction making me blush. "This is my girlfriend Kate, Kate this is Ella who if you haven't guessed is Joshua's mum," Dan introduced us, slowly sliding his arm around my waist which made me shiver at our closeness- I could never get used to being with him. "Nice to meet you," I smiled at Ella. "Nice to meet you too, are you friends with the girl Joshua came home with last night- I've never seen her before." I laughed, god knows what they'd been up to, "Yes, Sarah, she's my closest friend." Ella let out a short laugh, "Oh well I didn't exactly get introduced last night, she's very loud though, want some breakfast?" she said making both Dan and I laugh, I knew Sarah wouldn't have been able to help herself. "Sounds like someone had fun last night," I whispered to Dan as he continued to laugh. "Breakfast sounds great Ell, we'll go and wake Josh," Dan chuckled before leading me upstairs. "Erm, I don't think we should go in there," I laughed hearing the moans coming from inside Josh's room. "Yeah me neither, I'll just knock," he knocked loudly on the door and the moans stopped, "Josh mate, breakfasts almost ready," Dan said seriously but I could tell he was suppressing his laughter. "Hey Sarah," I added so she would know I had heard what she had been up to, I couldn't wait to see the embarrassed look on her face.
