Heaven or Hell?

Chapter Twenty - Three:

Tonight is the night of the concert. Also known to me, Blake and Leo as the night we were suppose to get revenge on Jack, but it turns out he was arrested by the vampire police - whoever they are? Remember when Blake took me away from the scene from when my mother was going after Jack? Well when Blake and myself returned home, Jack was no where to be seen. But my mother was scrubbing blood off of her hands. My dad said that what my mother did to Jack was not to be repeated and that not even myself was suppose to know, yet Blake managed to find out and swore me to secrecy as he told me that my mother had almost killed Jack and would of if Ms Coles didn't interfere. But apparantly my mother had pratically mauled him like a wild dog would do to a rabbit. Just like an animal! 

"Oi, Zoey open up the damn door!" Becky shouts from the other side of the door of my dressing room, also known as the music room where Ms Coles had first heard me sing.

"What?" I say as I open the door only to find her staring at me with a look of trouble written all over her face. And that's when I notice it, the make up bag and straightners.

"Oh no!" I pratically scream as i begin to walk backwards, but with every step I take is another she takes forwards whilst grinning like the cat from Alice and Wonderland. "Oh yes!" She answers as she pratically hand cuffs me to the chair and begins touturing me with all the bright colours that she plasters on my face. "I hate you" I mutter as she finally finishes her "master peice" as she calls it. 

"Sure you do honey, let's see if you still think that after you see yourself" She answers with a triumph smile. "Well hand me the mirror then!" I demand, however as she passes me the mirror. I find myself staring back a girl who has curled hair to perfection that dangles over her right shoulder. A pair of blue eyes due to the contact lenses that I have to wear, that are surrounded by thick black eyeliner to give a smoky eye effect. Overall, I looked amazing.

"Told you!" Becky sings, giving me a look to say that she is a "know it all" 

"Thank you!" I say as I stand myself up to give her a hug in the white, knee flowing dress that I have to wear on stage.

"Don't thank me yet, you are due on stage in five minutes and there are two men outside waiting for you" She says with a added wink before walking out of the door; sure enough as she walks out the door Blake and Leo walk in, both wearing attractive looking suits.

"You look beautiful" Blake comments as he comes and gives me a hug, shortly followed by Leo except Leo gives me a short blissful kiss.

"And you look handsome" I reply as I wrap my arms around Leo's waist. 

"So we have some good news and some bad news" Blake says as he avoids my eyes, making me wonder what the bad news could be.

"And what is that?" I ask as I pull away from Leo as his attitude matches Blake's. What are these two honestly hiding that could be so bad?

"Jack is back" Blake says making me freeze in my steps. 

"He's...he....is what?" I stutter as fear takes over me completely.

"He escaped and word is he is going to make tonight a big bang!" Leo angrily states as he attempts to hug me again, but I refuse to touch him. "What if, what if he tries to hurt you? Then what am I suppose to do? I lost Liam, I can't loose either of you two!" I say beginning to cry, but Blake is quick to cup my cheeks and wipe away the tears that have began to smudge my make-up.

"Hey, listen to me okay? You aren't going to loose me or Leo. We are more concerned about you! Jack is very possessive as you know, so the first person he is going to go after is most likely you! But this is what we are going to do. You're going to go out there and perform and then after tonight we are all going to go away on a long vacation until Jack is caught" Blake informs me, but before I can answer him. Becky opens my door with a angry look on her face and drags me out of the room saying that I was due on stage three minutes ago.
