Three hours. That is how long I have been avoiding both Becky and Leo. But now I am sure to bump into them considering my next class is drama which is with the exaggerating actress herself Becky. I know she told Leo where I was thinking it would lift some of the grief that I have been feeling off of my shoulders. But that still doesn't make what she did completely okay. I told her that I didn't want him knowing, yet she directs him right to where I was. I just prey he hasn't worked it out yet. Because god knows how he will react if he realises that the name that he read aloud was his son. But my thoughts are soon disturbed by the ear piercing bell that goes off. Signalling all students that last period is now starting, and for me that is drama. I'm just hoping that this day would hurry up and end already. Because the sooner school finishes the sooner I can return to my own apartment and be left alone to decide whether or not to come clean to Leo by myself.
"Today class I will be pairing you up to decide which students have chemistry with who" the drama teacher informs us, but not before motioning us to stand in a class circle. Where with Ms Coles as the teacher standing in the centre.
Great. Just what I need to see who I have chemistry with and do you know what makes this activity even more thrilling. The fact that I have just been paired up with Jack. Yep, you got it. Jack slater.
"Now with your partners I want you to play the twenty question game, except you are only asking three questions" Ms Coles adds before allowing us to move around to where our partner stands. Or in other words I remain standing whilst the spawn of the devil makes his way towards me with his signature smirk plastered all over his face.
"So, Leo Taylor huh?" He states rather than questions.
"What about him?" I ask feeling the need to defend him.
"Nothing, just wondering why you are avoiding him" he replies whilst doing some warm up action Ms Coles has asked us to do.
"I'm not avoiding him!" I quickly answer, some may say I answered a little too quickly.
"Right, that's why every time you see him you walk the opposite direction" he says, but before I can respond to his judgement. Ms Coles instructs us to switch partners with those to the left of us. However, before Jack goes to his next partner he whispers in my war "I know about Liam" and with that I am left standing on my own with my mouth slightly open in shock, before my next partner arrives. Who is no other than Becky.
"Before you start shouting at me, let me just say I am really sorry" she declares with her hands help up like she is surrendering, but right now I don't care about her telling Leo. Instead I have a whole new other problem.
"Your forgiven, but Becky I have bigger things to deal with now!" I say, looking her straight in the eye so that she knows it is serious.
"What's happened?" Is all she has time to say before I explain what happened between me and Jack.
"Wait, how does he know?" She asks sounding as shocked as I am.
"I have no idea but I know he is going to blackmail me with this information" I say, already brainstorming the possibilities in which he will be able to use Liam against me.
"Zoey, we have to tell Leo now!" Becky begs as the dawn of reality begins to creep up on me. Maybe I have to tell him now. After all it would be better coming from me rather than someone else. Wouldn't it? Of course it would.
"Okay, bring him to my apartment at six" I tell her as Ms Coles begins to dismiss the exercise she has given us.
"Okay and Zoey your doing the right thing you know!" She says as she returns back to her seat.
I'm doing the right thing. Am I? Keeping a baby a secret from it's father for the past year. When was I ever doing the right thing?
