Heaven or Hell?

Chaoter Twenty:

I wonder around the halls by myself in search of Leo. Me and Becky came up with the plan that I will get Leo by himself and talk things out with him in secret. Sounds simple right? It is a hell of a lot harder than it sounds. Especially, when Jack is constantly following me around like a lost puppy.

"Zoey?!" I hear a voice shout, the exact same voice that opened up to me about three days ago.

"Yes Blake?" I answer as he runs up towards me.

"I know" is all he says before pulling me into an empty classroom and locking the door.

"Know what?" I ask in confusing, although I am also annoyed by the fact that I was in the middle of looking for Leo before he pulled me into this room.

"I know that you know the truth about Leo" is all he says before realisation hits me.

"What? How?" I question in disbelief.

"I am what you may call a fan of true love and may i just say i am totally shipping the name Haylor" he answer with a huge grin.

"haylor?" i laugh in confusion.

"yeah, you know Taylor and Haynes make Haylor" He states as if im stupid, but now that i think about it. it does seem rather obvious.

"Great, but Blake i need to speak to Leo. Where is he?" i desperately plea.

"We have drama now, why don't we go and see if he is there and i will distract Jack long enough for you to talk to Leo" he offers.

"excellent" i say before we make our way out of the classroom.

"you still haven't told me how you knew that i knew the truth about Leo" i state as we reach the drama studio.

"A magician never tells his secrets" he says with a wink, along with a identical smile to the one that I wear. "Now's your chance" He adds before walking off towards Jack. But before I can even locate Leo, Ms Coles comes walking towards me with a massive grin on her face.

"You ready?" she asks me with a scary glint in her eye.

"ready for what?" i question.

"The lift? You know the same one from dirty dancing that you're going to do with Leo?" She answers, oh that lift. But before I can answer I feel a strong pair of arms wrap around my waist. Jack.

"She's not doing that lift" he states, but I begin to object.

"Honestly, Jack it will be fine. It's just one lift" I say adding a peck to his lips to add effect to my "love" to him. Oh yeah, once I found out the truth all my love for Jack disappeared. But the electric shocks are still there, they just have the opposite effect on me now.

"Right, let's get started then!" Ms Coles declares with her hands rubbing together.

Once all students take their seats me and Leo are the only ones on stage along with Becky and Ma Coles who are directing us. But the whole time they talk, my eyes remain fixed on Leo. Who stares back at me as if he can tell what I am thinking.

Wait, Jack knew what I was thinking so I wonder if Leo will be able to tell.

"Lights, camera, action" Becky declares as the music begins to play.

At first I have no clue what I am doing as I didn't bother to listen to the dance routine they showed me. But the way Leo begins to walk towards me and places one hand on my waist, indicates that I have sway my hips to the beat. So that is what I do. And for an actual whole two minutes before we have to do the lift, it's as if it is only us two in the room. The way our bodies dance with the one another just seems natural. And when it comes to the lifting part I run at full speed and sure enough he lifts me into the air. Managing to balance my whole body in his two arms for numerous seconds until the music ends.

"PERFECT!" Becky shouts as Leo puts me down, where even though we may be vampires. We stand next to one another breathless. Although, most of my breath was taken away by Leo's dancing skills.

"Right Class, I need you to make sure you practice those songs you've been assigned as next week is the love show! So all this week you will have drama" Ms Coles informs us before allowing us to take a break.

"Can we talk?" I ask Leo when I see Blake send a wink my way.

"Sure" he says, although he catches on to my hesitation and guides us into a music room.

Where as soon as he closes the door I jump into his arms and wrap my arms so tight around his neck, I'm surprised he didn't suffocate.

"I'm sorry. I'm so so so sorry! I know you left to protect me and I'm sorry it has taken this long for me to realise it" I babble.

"Zoey, calm down. You have nothing to apologise for" He answers as he tightens our embrace.

"I'm sorry I chose Jack over you, but I don't want him" I say, but it is obvious this catches Leo off of guard as he pulls away from our hug.

"But he's your soul-mate?" He states although it comes out more of a question.

"Correction - he is one of my soul-mates. But I don't love him" I answer making sure that the whole time I talk. I don't look away from his eyes.

"Then who do you love?" He questions moving dangerously close towards me, until we are a mere centimetre away from one another.

"The same person I have loved for almost two years now, You" and with that Leo crashes his lips onto mine. Where I instantly melt into his embrace but quickly pull away as we hear footsteps coming from down the corridor. Luckily, whoever was walking down the corridor doesn't come in the room as they enter another one.

"Do you want to see your son?" I ask as it dawns on me that since Leo has returned, I haven't exactly let him visit Liam's grave properly.

"I would love too" is all he says before we sneak out of school and walk to our son's grave hand in hand.
