The sound of my phone going off woke me up which was funny because I don't remember putting it there. I rolled over to grab my phone to see who was texting me, I unlocked my phone and the text read;

Morning! I'm at band rehearsal right now. You fell asleep last night so I tucked you in :) I hope you don't mind me putting my number into your phone. Want to grab a coffee later? x

I smiled at the lovely text he'd sent me. I decided to reply.

Hey Dan, coffee sounds great, come round to mine at 2:30. Hope you're having fun at rehearsals! x

He read the message instantly and sent back an 'ok'. I checked the time, 10:49, Shit. Only have 3 and a bit hours to get ready. I steadily lifted myself up from my bed and headed into my bathroom for a shower. After singing like an absolute lunatic I exit the shower and dry myself off. I stared into the mirror with my towel wrapped round my body and round my long blonde hair. In my head I was making decisions about what to wear, how I will do my make-up and how I will style my hair. Once I finally made my decisions I set off running round my wardrobe picking out various pieces of clothing trying them on, switching things about and throwing things in a pile.

It took me an hour and half to get dressed and do my make-up. Having heard that Dan was in a band I wanted to do my research and look up the band on YouTube. I listened to their entire album and I would be lying if I said that I didn't like it. It was amazing and Dan's voice was just angelic. I instantly grabbed my phone and my thumbs started rapidly typing;

OMG Dan I've just listened to your album. It's amazing and your voice is amazing I'm so jealous! You'll definitely need to give me a private session ;) x

He replied;

Haha I'll think about it, I'm glad you like it :) x

I was ready and had plenty of time before Dan arrived. I placed my phone in the docking station and turned up the volume.

'Eh eh oh eh oh' I started to sing. Before too long I really got into it and started dancing around my flat. My singing got louder and louder until the buzzer went. I turned off the music but I still had it stuck in my head. I pressed the buzzer to let Dan in. I made last minute checks in the mirror to see if everything looked alright. Knocks came from the door and I breathed out mentally preparing myself for today, for some reason I was really nervous. I opened the door to see Dans sweet face smiling at me. He greeted me with one of his heart warming hugs.

"How was rehearsal?" I asked.

"It was fine, we just sat in my flat and just played about for a wee bit, I should really introduce you to the rest of the band. I told them about you and how you enjoyed the album. We could meet them today if you want?" He said smiling.

"Yeah sure! Let's go get some coffee first, I know a great coffee shop"

When we got outside we started chatting away, side by side. He then finally found the courage to take my hand and hold it in his grasp. I blushed a little bit and I hid my face by looking at the ground, but he always finds out.

"You blushing again?" He chuckled.

"No..." I lied, I could feel my cheeks burning up. I took the plaster off my cut cheek this morning and it seemed to be healing fine.

"Liar" he whispered. I rolled my eyes and let go of his hand to open the door to the coffee shop.

"Why don't you take a seat and I'll order, what do you want?" He thought long and hard but then then gave up.

"Surprise me." He blurted out.

I walked up to Cathy who had a big smile on her face.

"Laura...please tell you've just came in with who I think it is?" She whimpered. I turned round to face Dan. I didn't know she was a fan of Bastille?
