"Watch out!" I heard Denis yell, just as Grayson shoved me backwards. It was a blow to the chest. It felt like I was punched. I stumbled backwards, out of breath, and tripped right over the window sill. I ACTULY fell out the window! I couldn't scream, it felt like those dreams where your just falling and falling into nothingness. I felt someone grab my ankle tightly. I opened my eyes and saw I was upside down. I was hanging from the third floor. I would die if I fell right now. I looked down and saw the concrete and the trees. They were so small. That's when the screams came in. "NOO!" I started sobbing, I was terrified! "I've got you Victoria!" Denis called out. "Don't let go!!" I sobbed. I felt Denis pulling up my leg, then grab my waist. I reached up and grabbed the collar of his shirt. He pulled me over the window sill and wrapped his arms around me. "I'll never let you go"

Let's not start hear, let's go back to that first morning instead....

Victoria's POV

My alarm was extra loud this morning. I have been dreading this day since Monday. Friday's are usually one of the best days of the weeks for me but today I wasn't doing what I would usually do with my spare time.

I lived with my mother all of freshmen year of college, but she thinks it should be time I go off in the real world on my own instead of living off my mom.

I didn't like the idea at the time, but its not like I had any say in the decision, so I minus well roll with it.

With my dad being gone for a few years now, me and my mom were the only thing we had. But I'm 20 now and Maybe moving out can help with my social skills, considering I only have two friends, Kate and Lisa.

Kate and Lisa are the kind of girls who do dumb things for stupid reasons. For example, they compete to see who can sing the loudest in a store and who ever gets kicked out first, wins.

I know, what kind of people are you hanging out with? But at the end of the day, they are the ones who will always have your back.

***

"Victoria, your alarm has been going off for five minutes now. Its time to get up and get dressed.

I rolled to my alarm clock and lazily threw it in my closet to shut it up.

I finally got the will power to get up and go in the shower. After my warm shower, I blow dried my and brushed my dark brown locks.

I decided to wear a red skirt, white shirt, leather jacket, and black heels. I know it was a little formal but you know, first impressions.

I fixed up my hair a bit more before grabbing my purse and heading to the front door. Before I left I shouted, " i'm going out with my friends after to pick out a bathing suit, okay?" I said, waiting for a response. "okay! hurry back though!" she yelled back. " Bye mom, love you" I told her, "see you later sweetie" she called back as I went out the door...

Shopping with my friends was always a great time killer, especially when they make you try on EVERY outfit possible, and today we were shopping for bathing suits because Sunday was the day we got to meet other students attending your collage, and what better way to do that then with a beach party? I mean, what can POSSIBLY go wrong?

I hope you enjoyed this first chapter, I know its probably not going to be my best but I promise, the story only gets better.
